00:07want at first base christian campbell's over that's the guy i had it wrong on the homestand

00:12i'm like devers will be seen taking ground balls at first he's never playing first it was campbell

00:16devers is never playing first i mean brad foe told us last week he doesn't even want to run

00:20the first it's more likely he gets traded than plays games at first base and it turns out it's

00:25going to be christian campbell over there who knows when but that's what i think is good because

00:29we also got the news that uh the woo socks there there's the team that i can get behind

00:34they'll take care of us though woo socks uh had marcelo meyer playing second base so that seems

00:39like the logical next step because that was one thing i didn't love about the idea anyway of

00:44devers playing first was who's going to be your dh is that somebody that you really want in the

00:48lineup every day or is it really more of just an opportunity to give guys sort of like a break in

00:53the field but you're not really adding a big hitter so now you first base is giving you nothing

00:59at the plate it's giving you nothing all year long because casas wasn't any good when he was healthy

01:05and then all the different guys trying to replace him have been bad too so you take camel's bat which

01:10it's cooled a little bit it's not quite a bit it's not amazing but i'd still rather have him getting

01:15it bad than all those other guys and now marcelo meyer can make his major league debut start at

01:21second base and who knows trevor story stinks right now maybe he'll eventually play shortstop too

01:25you have to hope that they're in conjunction i just i i believe they're going to be in in

01:31addition to one another campbell moves to first and then whenever they do that then myers up i mean

01:36those should happen all at once or else you're not really improving the team at all yeah campbell's

01:40playing games at first base but david hamilton's at second that's no good i don't want that i mean

01:43either so they better both happen together i also would just you know really rip the band-aid off and

01:48promote anthony at the same time yeah i don't know what they're waiting for oh wait i do it's about

01:52money it's not about winning games so i i actually know exactly what they're waiting for but it's

01:56getting more and more frustrating while they lose game after game after series after game which gets
