Mumbai (Maharashtra), May 17 2025 (ANI): Heavy pre-monsoon showers have lashed parts of Mumbai, including the Wadi Bunder area, bringing much-needed relief from the heat but also raising concerns about potential disruptions. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Mumbai and neighboring districts like Thane and Raigad, forecasting light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds over the weekend.
