00:00I think footfall in the town has not been brilliant since COVID.

00:05It goes up and down.

00:07We have many festivals and activities to boost the tourism and support businesses.

00:15But charges of this kind are actually going to deter people from coming into the town,

00:21staying in the town and actually using our hostelries, our shops and so on.

00:27I think it will kill the town.

00:29It's ridiculous, to be honest.

00:32I mean, with such a small town that's already kind of struggling to get trade in footfall,

00:36it's kind of choking us, to be honest.

00:39I don't really see any need for it.

00:42It's already a nightmare to park here.

00:43It's already expensive.

00:44And to put the prices up even more is just going to deter people.

00:48And a lot of the local traders have already noticed a drop in footfall.

00:51And this is only going to make it worse, really.

00:53And if you're interested in the market, it's just going to be a little bit more.
