Farrah Abraham is making it loud and clear -- she ain't heading back to her "Teen Mom" roots, telling TMZ it’s because she’s too pricey for the network to afford.

00:00I love the question, but I don't understand why fans keep asking me would I come back.
00:07I think I've been so boldly honest, more honest than probably any other women on the franchise
00:13with fans because I get bombarded every day.
00:17Like people, like reporters are just like dying for me to comment on a reunion picture
00:22that's missing all the cast basically.
00:25And I think if it's done purposely so that I respond to just get a little bit of attention
00:32for the franchise, again, the network is not in a position to have actual budgets.
00:38I am not making light of, you know, less budgets or I'm not, you know, putting a spotlight on
00:47lack of budgets, but I'm just being authentically honest when I say for Teen Mom, it is not
00:53it is not for me to be a part of.
00:56I have to respect my time.
00:58I have to look out for my child.
01:00And I think if budgets cannot get to where they need to, because Paramount is being bought
01:04out by Skydance, if no one else is aware of this.
01:07So when everybody puts it on like Farrah and that's why sometimes I'm like, okay, I'm going
01:12to the network.
01:13I let all the fans know.
01:15And when it's being declined, it's because there is no funding.
01:20I don't need the pressure anymore.
01:21It's like not my journey anymore.
01:24And I mean, like I'm pitching my own Teen Mom stuff around Paramount to other networks,
01:30other divisions that actually fund Teen Mom for the fans.
01:34And I think that's more important than just being focused on a show that's in a lull and
01:39has no funding.
01:40And you have other producers who work on that.
01:42We're looking for other jobs elsewhere as well.
01:45Some of the founders are selling other TV shows right now.
01:48And I think that's, you know, look around and see what's actually the real activity that's
01:53going on.
01:53So you're going to see a whole change in those shows.
01:58We're very excited about all these other things.
02:00Like my book to film adaptation, I finally got the script done.
02:03And so we're outselling that.
02:05I have another true crime, true crime docuseries that's being optioned over at Liongate.
02:10And so I just like, I'd like to keep a lot of everything in.
02:14But I also know, like, I am tired of being bombarded and that weight put on me of like
02:21a spirit coming back and all these things when it's a bigger business thing than just me.
02:26Whether it's true crime, whether it's about ketamine health and celebrities, like there
02:31are so many fun new things and I would love to, you know, hire Janelle.
02:35I'd love to hire Ashley.
02:36I'd love to hire, you know, so many other teen moms.
02:39And if there's like a teen mom look back and the influence on like our audience and our
02:45kids and the moms, like those are shows that I'm pitching and it's actively out right now.
02:51So fingers crossed y'all, but I can't handle the pressure on me.
