00:12from 58,000 ringgit to 269,700 ringgit.
00:18Deputy Inspector General of Police Datuk Seri Ayob Khan Maidin Pichay said the aid would
00:23be dispersed promptly through various welfare funds and insurance schemes.
00:27He said that personnel who were injured in the crash would also receive financial aid
00:32subject to medical evaluation.
00:35Eight of the fallen FRU members will be laid to rest in various locations across Perak,
00:41including Taiping, Kampar and Ippo, while the ninth will be buried in Kulimkida.
00:47Ayob Khan said a full investigation report into the crash is expected to be completed shortly
00:54after receiving input from other agencies, including Puspacom.
00:58Meanwhile, a remand order for the lorry driver involved in the crash will be sought on Wednesday
01:04at the Teluk Intan Court.
01:06Ayob Khan said the suspect has six prior convictions, including four for theft, one for rape and
01:12one for a drug-related offence.
