00:00I've been in this industry, I've been in this business a long time.
00:04What's up in style? It's Victoria Justice.
00:06Get ready with me for the Image Maker Awards.
00:14I had a fitting with Philippe, my stylist, the other day.
00:18And this dress just really stood out to me.
00:20It's, I think it's gorgeous.
00:22It's like sheer brown and it has this plunging neckline with like this gold kind of,
00:29it looks like a dragon kind of coming around my neck.
00:32I tried on probably like, probably like five dresses.
00:36It was down to two dresses.
00:38But this brown one just really stood out to me.
00:41I feel like when you know, you know.
00:43And then Lucene and I were talking about what to do.
00:46And we kind of want to do like a smoky, kind of edgy eye.
00:51And then of course like glowy skin.
00:53I don't like to do heavy foundation, I really, she knows.
00:56Like I'm always like minimal.
00:58I really want the skin to, the natural skin to shine through.
01:01So that's kind of our plan.
01:03I feel like whenever I'm on a red carpet, especially for an award show like this,
01:06where it's like, you know, Image Maker Awards.
01:09I kind of feel like go bold or go home.
01:11Otherwise, what's the point?
01:13What is my typical glam process?
01:17I love to start out with a good workout.
01:18Because to me, like it all, feeling good, it all starts from the inside.
01:22It also is about the mental.
01:24And I feel like when I work out, it just gives me that boost of serotonin,
01:27that mental clarity that I need that prepares me for the day.
01:30So I like starting with that.
01:32But other than that, I just take a shower.
01:36I will use my Clarisonic because I just love how like it gets in there.
01:41I want to like cleanse my pores and get all the grime out as much as possible.
01:44I use like an eye gel.
01:46I'm like a moisture junkie.
01:47So like the more moisturizer, the better.
01:50And I love piling it on before I put on foundation because I just feel like,
01:53I just love the skin to really naturally shine through and glow.
01:57That's kind of my process.
02:00Am I missing anything?
02:01What do you think, Lucene?
02:03Because Vic likes her skin to be dewy, I try not to use too much primer.
02:08Sometimes primer can look too heavy.
02:10So I'll just put it in the areas where I don't want her to shine.
02:13But we love Armani Luminous Foundation.
02:16Mm-hmm.
02:17That's my favorite foundation.
02:18I love Luminous Silk.
02:20But I like to do the eyes first.
02:22And I'm always doing the skin late after at the very end.
02:25Just because I want her skin to look as...
02:28Fresh.
02:29And as fresh as possible.
02:30I love that they're honoring, you know, the people behind some great fashion moments.
02:36Like I love that they're honoring people that do nails and hair and makeup and the stylists, you know.
02:41It's fun to always, to be celebrating creativity of any sort.
02:46And so I think there's going to be a lot of really cool women in this room tonight.
02:50A lot of really strong, talented, powerful women.
02:53And I'm just honored to be included.
02:55Camila Cabello's going to be there.
02:57I saw her at Paris Fashion Week at the Bermont show.
03:00Also excited to see Lana Del Rey.
03:02Big fan of hers.
03:03I think she's amazing.
03:05And then Remy Wolf, who I'm bringing with me tonight.
03:08I've been a fan of her music for so long now.
03:11And I happened to be seated next to her at this award show like a year ago.
03:15We just started bonding over our love for reality TV.
03:19We were both watching The Bachelor at that point.
03:21So we were talking a lot about that.
03:22And then we, like, exchanged Instagrams.
03:24And then she reached out to me a few weeks later and asked me to be in her music video.
03:28And I was like, say no more.
03:30Like, tell me when and where.
03:31I'm there.
03:32I love you.
03:33I think you're incredible.
03:34What an honor.
03:35And yeah, we kind of just became friends from there.
03:37And so when this invite said, invite someone who inspires you, I was like, I want to take Remy.
03:41Because her music does inspire me.
03:44I think she's a great songwriter.
03:46I think she's an incredible singer and a great performer.
03:48And I also think that she is just such a badass.
03:51Like, she is bold.
03:53She's unapologetic.
03:54She is who she is.
03:55And those are all things that I really admire and that I love about her.
03:59So I'm very excited to be bringing her tonight.
04:02The dress is also kind of daring, too.
04:04It's a little cheeky in the back.
04:06So you got to make sure we have the right undergarments.
04:09She's very sexy.
04:11Like, she's bold.
04:12She's sexy.
04:13It kind of reminds me of something that Cher would have worn back in the day.
04:17And she's, like, my queen.
04:20I love Cher.
04:21Last year for Halloween, I was Cher.
04:23I dressed up as her in her Turn Back Time music video.
04:28I, like, put together the outfit myself.
04:30I was very proud of myself.
04:31She's an icon for a reason.
04:33She's incredibly daring with her style and unapologetic and bold.
04:38And those are the things that I think I admire.
04:41I'm a little annoyed today because I have a freaking pimple on the side of my face.
04:48And I feel like this always happens whenever I'm like, my skin was looking great.
04:52And then, of course, I have an event coming up.
04:55And then she just decides to flare up.
04:58And I'm like, oh, come on, man.
05:00We were so close.
05:02I really like Dior's eyebrow pencil.
05:05And brown is a shade that I use.
05:07I like Belief's moisturizing balm moisturizer.
05:10I've been using that for years.
05:12My favorite mascara that I've been using for years is Telescopic by L'Oreal.
05:16You go to the drugstore.
05:17I love it.
05:18I feel like it just separates my lashes and lengthens them and does everything I want mascara to do.
05:24So we smoked out her eyes a little bit.
05:26And now I'm going into the lash line with a black shadow and just really trying to emphasize that lash line
05:32so that it also acts as a, like it kind of hides the individuals that we're going to put on.
05:37But it makes her lashes look thicker.
05:40And we're going to go for a really cool, dramatic, bronzy, glowy, dewy look, but with a bit of an edge to it.
05:47And Vic actually looks great in everything, so it's not hard to mess up with her.
05:50That's not true.
05:51That's really not true.
05:52She's very sweet by that.
05:54I can literally, she's one of the faces that I love working on all the, like, no matter what we do.
06:00Thanks, Lucine.
06:01You've been working on my face since I was 15?
06:0615.
06:07You're one of those people that, like, never changes.
06:10You're the same.
06:11Behind closed doors.
06:13Aw, thank you.
06:15Whether you're in public or out, you're just so genuine.
06:18Thanks, that's so sweet.
06:20So if anyone's wondering if she's that sweet all the time, yes, she is.
06:24Philippe, what accessories am I doing for this look?
06:27Oh, we have options.
06:29Maybe bengals and some rings.
06:31Ooh.
06:32Got some good options here.
06:33I'm excited.
06:34Wow, these are really cool.
06:35Yeah.
06:36I always have to do my own curling of the lashes.
06:38She has to do it herself.
06:39I had someone do it to me once and, like, they, like, hurt me and it scarred me.
06:43It's just such a personal thing, you know what I mean?
06:45It's really freaky having someone else, like, get all up in your eye and, like, curl it.
06:48Like, no, I don't, not for me.
06:50Making the movie was really fun.
06:51I loved the entire cast and crew.
06:53It's like a very sexy, dark thriller.
06:55There's lots of blood and gore and there's murder and greed and sex.
07:00I had my first ever sex scene, which was very daunting for me.
07:04And it was also on the first day of filming, which was, which was interesting.
07:10Yeah, you can check it out everywhere now, wherever you can, like, buy movies.
07:13But I'm very, I'm very proud of it.
07:15It was really fun.
07:16This one I feel like it's being called funky.
07:18It is because it turned towards me.
07:20It's like sticking out too much.
07:22And what I like to do is instead of, like, I just like to do setting spray in between everything.
07:28Now we're going to go for a little lip, little lip moment.
07:32We're going to line the lips.
07:34Too much coffee.
07:38Can we do a nude lip?
07:40I hate a nude lip.
07:41I'm not a nude lip girl.
07:43Why?
07:44I just think it looks so bad on me.
07:45I mean, we've done it once or twice and I like it, but you're just, she's just not into it.
07:49It doesn't look good.
07:50I like a little bit of color.
07:51I like, like, natural or like a little bit more than natural or like a berry tone.
07:56Or like, I love like a dark, bold color or like a red, like, that's, that's more my vibe.
08:02I'm just not like a nude or like super pink girl.
08:05Is this what we're going to?
08:07Oh, I'm not sure.
08:08I might mix it.
08:09I'm just going to see how it looks.
08:10Okay.
08:11Oh, we're always like mixing things.
08:14It's never always one color.
08:16I've been in this industry, I've been in this business a long time.
08:20No, I really haven't.
08:22I've been doing this since I was 12 years old, 11 years old.
08:27I have a brand new song that came out recently.
08:30It's called Down.
08:31It was like a really fun, sexy summer song, but it's not only exclusive to the summer.
08:35You can, you can bump it, whatever.
08:36It's just very sexy.
08:38It's fun.
08:39It's about like a new relationship and all those fun feelings that come with that.
08:43Yeah.
08:44I've been releasing a lot of new music this year.
08:45There's more to come.
08:46I'm writing more and I'm really excited for what's to come.
08:51I'm also thinking like, I thought this guy is covered enough.
08:59Damn you.
09:04Okay.
09:05And now that makeup is done, it is time to put on the dress.
09:08Let's do it.
09:14So we did a half up, half down situation.
09:20And I really love it.
09:21I really feel like the dress needed a little bit more of like an oomph.
09:24And I feel like the pulling the hair back just kind of makes it more of a look a little bit more elegant.
09:28So game time decision.
09:31Crush it.
09:33Let's do it.
09:34We have Philippe.
09:35Stylist extraordinaire from France.
09:37The real deal, baby.
09:38Okay.
09:39Can I show you these?
09:40Yeah, these are really pretty.
09:41Yeah.
09:42Okay.
09:43Shades.
09:48Let's stack these two.
09:49Yeah.
09:50Let's see which one do we like more.
09:51There's this.
09:54Or, there's this.
09:58We're asking you, the voters at home.
10:01The full gold.
10:02I was thinking that too.
10:03It's cute.
10:04We're going for a gold moment.
10:05Oh!
10:06We got one more.
10:07All right.
10:08InStyle, thank you so much for getting ready with me.
10:23And now it is time for me to head to the event.
10:26So, I'll see you guys there.
10:27Bye.
10:34Bye.
10:35Bye.
10:36Bye.
10:37Bye.
