SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav promises riverfront park, demands holiday on Maharana Pratap Jayanti

Lucknow (UP), May 09, 2025 (ANI ) : Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav held press conference on the occasion of Maharana Pratap Jayanti on May 09, 2025. In his address, he demanded the government for two days of leave on the occasion of Maharana Pratap Jayanti . He also promised to build Maharana Pratap’s “best statue” at river front . “We demand the government to provide 2 days leave on the occasion of Maharana Pratap Jayanti, so that we can make preparations on one day and celebrate the festival the next day. At places, his statue has been made. At the riverfront, we have announced plans to build a park in the name of great men...If there is any statue to be built on the riverfront is going to be best...The sword with that 'statue, will be of gold” , he said .The SP Chief has been promising to restore the holiday on Maharana Pratap Jayanti , if his party is voted back to power in Uttar Pradesh
