Spurs are next to bottom of the table and have yet to win this season. The Blades are two places above them with just four points from five games.

00:00Tottenham went some way towards placating their disappointed fans by breaking their duck on Wednesday night at the expense of Sheffield United.
00:10New signing Teddy Sheringham helped himself to the first.
00:18But you don't have to be a £2m player to get noticed.
00:21Take Simon Tracy, Sheffield United's goalkeeper. He set off in pursuit of Gordon Dury, only to be conspicuous by his absence when Dury curled one into the empty net.
00:39Then the back pass ruling tempted Tracy out again.
00:42At this point, he probably should have quit while he was winning. Instead, he chased the ball, lost it to a ball boy, and took out Andy Gray with a smother tackle on the way back.
01:00This was the second referee of the night, and it was the second bookable offence for Tracy.
01:05You might think he was probably glad to go before anything else happened.
