00:26You could tell he was very intense,
00:28smart, and he really helped us in our first year
00:30because he brought right or he bought right in
00:33and he was one of the main leaders of the team.
00:35He practiced every day and just a great guy to coach
00:37and we're going to miss him.

00:40would miss a player of the tally.

00:44and 16 and a half sacks in their first season on the job.
00:46But as a Raku's impact on the defense
00:48stretched beyond the stat sheet last year,
00:50O'Brien said he actually won us single-handedly
00:53won us two or three games by strip sacking the quarterback,
00:56getting the ball back to the offense.
00:57He's just a very explosive player,
01:00a guy that just relentlessly rushes the passer,
01:02a relentless defender really.
01:04He plays 100 miles an hour on every play.
01:06And that's one of the things that really pops about him
01:07when you watch him.
01:08He is a go, go, go motor player.
01:10So I feel the best emotionally about Booker
01:14and all the personality stuff and the interviews
01:16and everything right now is off the charts.
01:18But I feel the most solid and good about that pick.
01:22Yeah, as a Raku's a guy,
01:23that's a double-digit sack player.
01:24Like, there's no reason when you look at his projection
01:28and what he put on tape
01:30that he can't get you 10 sacks in a season at some point.
01:32Everyone seems to love that selection.
01:35And again, a guy who...
01:37Booker is such an easy one to get the attention
01:40for the leadership
01:40and just the command and the presence
01:43as such a young guy.
01:45Yeah, it's so easy to see that with him.
01:47But as a Raku was...
01:48Like, that's a team captain at Boston College.
01:50And that was a guy who has a very magnetic personality
01:53and has, like, in some of his dealings with the media,
01:56has been funny.
01:57Like, they'll talk to him about growing up
01:59where he did in the Northeast
02:00and, you know, saying,
02:01did your family grow up Eagles fans?
02:03And he goes, they're Cowboys fans now.
02:04That's all that matters.
02:06That's all we're focusing on now.
02:07They're Cowboys fans.
02:08But Bill O'Brien just gave him
02:09a ton of really high marks.
02:11Said he checks every box as a leader.
02:13He said he was a leader in every phase.
02:15He was in the front row of the team meetings.
02:16He was a guy that worked very, very hard
02:18in the weight room.
02:18Stayed extra after practice, before practice, extra film.
02:22He was a voice that everybody listened to on the team.
