00:35Eighty years ago today, the United Kingdom and its knowledge were around the globe.

00:40Celebrated VE Day, the end of war in Europe.

00:44Today, as we come together to come out right, what came to be known as VE Day,

00:49as those turned to the Thanksgiving, a remembrance of those winners that gave so much

00:54to achieve the freedom we all enjoy today.

00:58We remember those we lost, those who were wounded and scarred,

01:03those whose lives were forever chained by war.

01:07Nobody wants to do it.

01:09Let us pause and remember their sacrifice.

01:16We reflect today upon the word of our late and glorious reign in Israel.

01:22Never give up, never despair.

01:24So we offer thanksgiving for the selfishness of those who gave us so much in order that

01:30future generations shall enjoy the blessing of freedom, democracy and peace.
