00:33We expect D.C., but even for the country, because it's, to me, a very big deal.
00:39I'd like to thank NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, Washington Commander's owner Josh Harris, and
00:46Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, Secretary Scott Turner, Secretary Doug Burgum.
00:53And I see Howard Lutnick is here, too, Commerce and some others that, if I could see past
00:59the press, I'd name you, but I can't.

01:30In fact, maybe we could use it for other things, also.

01:35It's — it's going to be beautiful.
01:36It's going to be something that nobody else will ever be able to duplicate that, I don't
01:40suspect.
01:41It's very exciting.

02:23The draft is a celebration of one of our country's most cherished cultural institutions
02:28and the annual highlights for football fans everywhere.
02:32Everyone in the world is going to be watching.
02:34We look forward to welcoming people from across the nation, from all over the world.
02:39Last month, the Washington Commanders and the D.C. government also announced a major
02:44deal to build a brand-new 65,000-seat football arena at the site of the RFK Stadium in Eastern
02:51Capitol Hill.
02:52I don't think there is a better site anywhere in the world than that site.
02:56The President's incredibly exciting.
02:57You know, he's a friend of mine.
02:58He's a very successful guy.
03:00There's a reason for it.
03:01It's amazing.
03:02It sat there for years, and people were talking about stadiums and 25 different sites.
03:07I said, they're not talking about the best site.
03:10That's the best site there is.
03:11Bringing professional football back into the district from Maryland.
03:16And not only are these announcements great for the NFL, but they also advanced a mission
03:20of making Washington, D.C. safe and clean and beautiful.
03:24And we're working very closely with the mayor, as you know.
03:28And we've made a lot of improvements in the last few months.
03:32And it's getting to look really strong.
03:34Crime is way down.
03:36And a lot of — there's a good relationship we have going with Muriel.
