00:00It's really scary in those pictures.
00:30Those mug shots are really, really hard to look at.
00:38Yeah, I'm still scared of them.
00:50He said he was really mad and he choked her and he realized she was dead.
01:01Could have been me.
01:03It almost was me.
01:05He was definitely trying to intimidate me by stalking me.
01:10Every time I look back, he's right there.
01:14That night he has a box cutter to my throat and I'm yelling and I'm screaming for help.
01:21I do think he meant to kill me.
01:23He wouldn't admit it.
01:25He won't answer any of the questions that I have.
01:29I'm asking him multiple times and he just won't do it.
01:33I need him to admit that from our sanity.
01:40My mind automatically go to homicide, right?
01:41I'm going to kill this person.
01:42I snapped, took out the box cutter and got on the ground and tried to slit her throat.
01:49Has your mind always been like that?
01:50Man, I've been like that my whole life, man.
01:52You know what I'm saying?
01:53So it's only a matter of time, right?
01:54So you knew that you were basically a ticking time bomb?
01:55Absolutely.
01:56You still a ticking time bomb.
01:58I still lose a ticking time bomb.
02:00I'm not sure I'm just a ticking time bomb.
02:01I'm telling you, what it looks like, this deal is.
02:02It's just like the trigger.
02:03Like, I'm trying to kill this guy.
02:04I'm trying to kill this person.
02:05I'm trying to kill this person.
02:06Like, I snapped, took out the box cutter and get on the ground and tried to slit her throat.
02:08Has your mind always been like that?
02:09Man, I've been like that my whole life, man.
02:10So it's only a matter of time, right?
02:11So do you, you knew that you were basically a ticking time bomb?
02:16Absolutely.
02:17My still was ticking time bomb.
02:24Man, I don't know if I should say this on camera, man.
02:32But I scare myself sometimes, you know what I'm saying?
02:35Because I know where my mind goes.
02:54Man, I don't know if I should.
03:23This is a picture of me and Cory.
03:29A little after we first started dating.
03:35It was new, it was fun.
03:37He has a great smile.
03:39It's hard not to smile when he smiles.
03:44Cory was the first person to take me out on dates and spend money on me and...
03:50...make me feel important.
03:56And it was a nice feeling, feeling like that.
03:58That I was in love.
04:00Feeling like he loved me too.
04:03It's a good feeling.
04:05I do wish it could have stayed like that.
04:09It didn't work out that way.
04:13I had a...
04:35...okay childhood in the beginning.
04:41For most of my life, in our house, it was just me, my mom, my sister, and my sister's dad.
04:51And around like 12, I found out my parents were using drugs.
04:57And, you know, life just kind of went downhill from there.
05:06There was nothing in that house.
05:09We slept on the floor.
05:12It was more like a spot for my parents and their friends to do their drugs.
05:19When I met Cory, I was...
05:31...14.
05:34He was 24.
05:37He was very charming and...
05:41...very giving.
05:44He seemed so cool.
05:47At the time, being that young, I...
05:50...I thought I was, like, madly in love with this guy.
05:56Cory was...
05:58He was an escape from my reality.
06:02I was able to get away...
06:04...from everything going on at home.
06:08I don't know if I felt like I wanted...
06:11...better.
06:12I don't think I knew what better was.
06:14You know, I just didn't want to be there.
06:32The first time I seen Cory's anger...
06:36...when we were going out to eat...
06:37...I see a couple of guys that I hung out with...
06:40...and they're like, what's up, you know, how you been?
06:43And I remember I'm talking to them and...
06:46...out of the blue, Cory just gets pissed.
06:49His face was, like, wrinkled up and...
06:53...his eyes get really big and...
06:55...just scary.
06:57I told the guys, like, y'all don't need to be talking to her.
07:03Cory, stop!
07:05And he's yelling.
07:06They're telling him, like, no, you don't...
07:08...need to be saying that about her.
07:09She's not like that.
07:12Just saying some really messed up things.
07:14I was really embarrassed.
07:16Let's go.
07:17That was the first time I'd seen him be jealous like that.
07:25And then it was over.
07:28He didn't say anything to me.
07:30He just acted like it didn't happen.
07:33I didn't say anything to him.
07:36I didn't want to aggravate him.
07:38I was just in my head, like, what...
07:40...what just happened?
07:41Why would he do that?
07:47After that raid happened, I didn't...
08:02...see my sister for...
08:05...a few months.
08:07And then my sister got out of the foster home and...
08:11...she was at her cousin's house and I wanted to be there.
08:17There was one night, me and Cory were at his house and...
08:22...I was really missing my sister.
08:25And...
08:26...I wanted to go be with her.
08:28So, I started telling him, I was like, I'm gonna go stay with my sister.
08:32And...
08:34...I started packing up all my stuff.
08:36The little stuff I had.
08:38And he's just silent.
08:41I could see him getting...
08:43...irritated.
08:44And...
08:47...and...
08:48...he just was like, you're not leaving.
08:50You don't...
08:51...need to be there.
08:53Where the hell you think you're going?
08:54What?
08:55He was throwing...
08:56...my clothes out of my suitcase.
08:58Cory, stop!
09:00And...
09:01...I had a picture of my sister...
09:03...sitting on the dresser.
09:06And...
09:07...I go to grab it...
09:08...and he snatches it out of my hand.
09:10And...
09:12...and...
09:13...he was like, I'm not giving this picture.
09:15If you don't stay, you can't have this picture.
09:20To get that picture back, I had to put all...
09:23...of my clothes back where they were.
09:26Put the suitcase away.
09:28Be calm, stop crying, and...
09:31...act like...
09:33...that didn't happen.
09:35He knew how much...
09:37...that photo meant to me.
09:40That was the only picture...
09:42...that I had.
09:45I feel like Cory knew, you know...
09:48...what buttons to push...
09:49...and...
09:50...what would hurt me.
09:51He knew...
09:53...he knew me.
09:57I'd like to know if that was his plan.
10:00To try to break me down...
10:03...to keep me there.
10:05I feel like I need to know that...
10:08...this was the first time I seen him...
10:11...want that much control...
10:14...got worse from there.
10:15Hello, this is a free call from...
10:25...an inmate at the Minnesota Department of Corrections...
10:28...Stillwater Correctional Facility.
10:30To accept this free call, press zero.
10:33Hello?
10:35Hey, how are you doing?
10:37Yup? Good, good, good.
10:39I sent you a letter a couple of days ago.
10:40We got the green light from the prison.
10:42We're coming out to meet you.
10:44Yeah, we definitely want to hear the whole story off that.
10:47So what? You just attacked her?
10:49Yeah, I tried to spit her throat open.
10:55My son was born November 22nd, 2007.
11:00I really hoped that Cory would change.
11:04I thought he would see his son and...
11:08...we could just be a family.
11:10That's all I wanted.
11:16But he wasn't there.
11:18He wasn't changing diapers.
11:20When he would come home from work, he...
11:22...would just walk right past our son.
11:25Like, wouldn't pick him up.
11:27Wouldn't, you know, hold him...
11:29...or anything.
11:31It hurt me a lot.
11:35Especially when my baby started reaching for his dad.
11:41And him just walking past him.
11:47Cory just wanted it to be all about him.
11:51Nobody else.
11:53Slowly, he tried to...
11:59...pull me away from...
12:01...everybody.
12:03Over time...
12:05...it worked.
12:07He pulled me away from all of my friends.
12:10I stopped talking to a lot of people.
12:13During all that time, I did feel stuck.
12:18And he had me so...
12:20...just messed up in the head.
12:31One night, it was like...
12:33...kind of late.
12:35He was sleeping and his phone kept ringing.
12:36And...
12:41...I grabbed it.
12:44And I just seen...
12:46...different messages from...
12:48...different girls.
12:51Like, hey, what's up?
12:53And I miss you.
12:55Stuff like that.
12:57Just confirmation that...
12:59...there were other...
13:01...females he was talking to.
13:04He woke up...
13:07...and came out into the hallway.
13:10And he seen that I had the phone.
13:13And he's like, what the...
13:15...are you doing?
13:19So he...
13:21...slapped me in the back of the head.
13:23And then he kicked me.
13:25Snatched the phone.
13:28Like, I didn't...
13:30...didn't know who that was.
13:31I'd never seen that.
13:33You know, I was...
13:34...I was scared.
13:35It was just like...
13:36...dead.
13:38Evil.
13:42He didn't say...
13:43...sorry or anything.
13:44He just...
13:45...slammed the door.
13:48This was the first time he...
13:50...put his hands on me.
13:51One day...
13:53...I told him over the phone...
13:54...that I didn't want to be...
13:55...with him anymore.
13:56So I was tired of all the cheating.
13:58I was tired of the abuse.
14:00I was tired of the drinking.
14:02I didn't want to do it anymore.
14:04And I just kept telling him...
14:05...I don't want to be with him.
14:06He doesn't say anything to me after that.
14:08He's just silent like a snake.
14:10There's nothing you can do or say.
14:12I'm just done.
14:13And I just hung up the phone.
14:14And I just hung up the phone.
14:16And I just hung up the phone.
14:44Looking at it now...
14:46...I just think he's a bastard.
14:48He told my friends for three days...
14:50...that he was going to kill me.
14:52He said it with a straight stone cold face.
14:55He meant that.
15:01I always had to...
15:02...you know, look over my shoulder.
15:03I was scared.
15:07I had started noticing...
15:09...anytime I would leave the house...
15:10...he was following me everywhere.
15:15He was definitely trying to intimidate me...
15:17...by stalking me.
15:22It's just a sign of him unraveling.
15:26Him not being able to control himself anymore.
15:34I didn't think about going to the police...
15:36...because he was still living there.
15:39How can I say he's stalking me...
15:41...and we're living together?
15:45It's an unsettling feeling.
15:48I was definitely afraid for my life.
15:56You have no idea what he's going to do next.
15:59He came upstairs a couple of times...
16:16...tried to get me to go to the basement with him.
16:19Tell me, like, Lisa, come downstairs...
16:20...and me have a drink.
16:22But everything in me...
16:25...was telling me not to go in that basement with him.
16:28Everything.
16:33I knew he was going to try to hurt me.
16:36I knew that's why he wanted me to come down there.
16:40I kept telling him no.
16:42Something in me...
16:44...was just telling me that...
16:45...something bad was going to happen that day.
16:48He did that two times.
16:53Third time he comes up...
16:56...and he's like, I'm taking my son.
16:59You know what? I'm...
17:00I'm about to take my son and leave.
17:02I'm out.
17:03You're not.
17:05When he said that, I instantly got pissed.
17:07And...
17:08...we started arguing.
17:10And I'm telling him, like, you're not taking my son nowhere.
17:13And Cory's pacing back and forth...
17:16...and his eyes are just...
17:18...big and...
17:20...empty and...
17:22...he just looks so...
17:24...just evil, like...
17:25...it was scary.
17:27Then the next thing I know...
17:29...he runs towards me and he starts punching me.
17:31He's on top of me when he pulls...
17:37...the box cutter.
17:39He has...
17:41...a box cutter to my throat.
17:43I don't know how he got to it so fast.
17:46But I was just holding his hand...
17:49...like this.
17:51And I'm yelling and I'm screaming for help.
17:54Help me!
17:55My dad comes running out of the bedroom.
17:58Gets on top of him.
18:00He's choking him.
18:02This man is still on top of me.
18:04At that point, I just felt like...
18:06...nowhere he can do anything.
18:07He's invincible.
18:09They can't get him off of me.
18:11At this point now, they're trying to call the police.
18:15They can't.
18:16But...
18:17...he cut the phone lines.
18:25We're face to face.
18:28Looks like the devil.
18:32There's nothing there.
18:33Eyes just like...
18:35...they were just...
18:37...completely black.
18:39And I don't know where...
18:41...I got that strength from...
18:43...to hold him off.
18:45The box cutter is literally...
18:47...if I moved the wrong way...
18:49...they would have cut me.
18:51Just screaming help me...
18:53...over and over again.
18:55And my sister, she runs up to the neighbor.
18:58The neighbors call the police.
19:00When the police get there...
19:05...he finally got off of me.
19:07Runs back down to the basement...
19:09...and...
19:11...breaks out the window...
19:13...and leaves.
19:19And I feel...
19:21...something leaking...
19:23...from my head.
19:25And I touch his blood.
19:27There was blood on the floor.
19:30There was blood on the couch.
19:33I had to get seven staples...
19:35...in my head.
19:37And I still have the scar.
19:39It's a reminder all the time.
19:44I mean, right at the top of my head...
19:46...you can see the scar.
19:48It's there.
19:56I have tried to talk to Corey about that night.
20:09He won't say anything...
20:11...other than...
20:13...you know if I wasn't drinking...
20:16...I would have never done that.
20:18He won't take...
20:20...responsibility for what he did.
20:22It's psychotic.
20:24I would love to know why he...
20:27...did that to me.
20:30Like it's one thing for you to...
20:33...slap me or...
20:35...you know in the heat of an argument...
20:39...but to sit there and...
20:42...plan this.
20:44What did I do to you like...
20:46...for you...
20:48...to not want me to be here anymore?
20:49Megan.
20:50Megan.
20:52She looks happy.
20:53...like full of life.
20:55She's a beautiful girl.
20:56She looks happy.
20:58She's a beautiful girl.
21:00I don't want me to be here anymore.
21:03I don't want me to be here anymore.
21:04Megan, she looks happy, like, full of life.
21:22She's a beautiful girl, but she's not here anymore.
21:30I didn't know Megan.
21:33I did talk to her on the phone once while he was with her.
21:40I tried to tell her that she should be careful.
21:44I tried to save her.
21:47She wouldn't listen to me.
21:50I want to know some things about that night.
21:53I would like to know if it was intentional.
21:55Corey Thomas is a selfish, evil, abusive, manipulative psychopath.
22:11He's a murderer, and he always will be.
22:17Corey is where he belongs.
22:18And he needs to stay there.
22:22Corey only having 10 years left is, it's hard to think about that.
22:3710 years goes by fast.
22:44He tried to kill me in front of my family.
22:48That didn't stop him.
22:51So nothing, nothing feels safe if he's out.
22:57Will Corey hurt me again when he's out of prison?
23:01Does Corey think he'll kill again?
23:04Do you think you're evil?
23:19I could be evil, yes.
23:25If I'm an evil person, no, but I can't be evil.
23:33Because I always start off as nice, you know what I'm saying?
23:39And then if something don't go my way, if I get mad, I get angry, and then that's when
23:43I become evil.
23:45That's when the evil come out.
23:50Who is Megan Neely?
23:51Megan Neely was a girlfriend that I met when I got out of prison.
23:55I met her at a meeting.
23:57I was living in a sober home.
23:59She was nice and sweet and supportive.
24:03A good mother, too, so.
24:06She was making me better by keeping me sober, keeping me out of trouble.
24:22It's a lot of argument and stuff going on.
24:23I don't remember what we'd be arguing about.
24:26It's just like petty stuff, you know?
24:29She jumps up and grabs me by my neck.
24:32We start fighting.
24:34She ends up on the ground.
24:38And I start choking her.
24:42When I get into that rage where I feel like I'm going to kill somebody, I automatically black
24:48out where I don't remember stuff.
24:50My mind, now that I had time to think about all this stuff.
24:53When I get into a fight, my mind go to a hole.
24:59My mind is just not focusing on fighting, and I don't know where this comes from, but that's
25:07where my mind went.
25:08Oh, we're going to get into a fight, okay?
25:09You're going to put your hands on me, I'll kill you, you know?
25:13I am, I'm pretty laid back and charming, guy, and sweet.
25:19It's just when I get angry and I get mad, and somebody put their hands on me, man, it's
25:25just a whole nother level, right?
25:27So you, but the level of anger you have is...
25:30I don't, wouldn't call it anger, I call it rage, man.
25:34Can you feel it coming on when that's going to happen?
25:36Well, it automatically come on, man.
25:39It's not a feeling, it's just, it's like a switcher, like a light switch, man.
25:46It's like my mind just go enraged, man.
25:49It just go one way and one way on me.
25:52And that's what happened, you just switched?
25:54Absolutely.
25:55Were you sober when you did it?
25:56I absolutely was sober.
25:58You know, it was crazy.
26:00I think if I was under the influence, it would have been probably ten times worse.
26:04I never told anybody this, right?
26:06So, I loved the iron, as you can see, right?
26:10So it was iron right there.
26:12My, my first mind was to pick up the iron and hit her with it.
26:16I chose not to do that.
26:18Instead, I choked her.
26:21And when I realized that she was deceased, I panicked and I hid the body in the crawl space and I left.
26:35I've been in prison since 2011.
26:49I've been having a lot of positive stuff going on with myself, you know?
26:53No trouble.
26:54No trouble.
26:55I don't get, I haven't been getting no major trouble.
26:57I go to school.
26:59I work.
27:00Do you consider yourself performed?
27:02Absolutely.
27:03Because the, the reason I feel I'm performed now is because I stop and think before I make a decision.
27:12And I'm so used to just making decisions and then worry about the consequences and stuff later.
27:17Talk to me about, about New Year's Eve, 2008.
27:24Lisa.
27:25Lisa, she was trying to leave me.
27:28I was drinking, celebrating and I was threatening her life to kill her and she left the whole day or whatever.
27:36So when did she tell you she was trying to leave you?
27:38Well, we've been arguing about this for days now.
27:41She's been telling us she got tired of the domestic violence, got tired of me cheating on her and stuff like that.
27:47Why didn't you just let her go?
27:50I'm trying to let her go because I was very controlling at the time.
27:54I wanted to do my thing and control her and, and have her at the same time.
27:59So you knew that you, that you just wanted to be in control?
28:02Absolutely.
28:03I was hella controlling her, like isolating her and everything.
28:07Didn't want her to hang out with family and stuff.
28:10Didn't want her to go out with people.
28:12Didn't want her to talk to people.
28:14You know what I'm saying?
28:15Even though I'm doing my thing.
28:17So when Lisa was, decided she was, she wanted to break up with you.
28:21Did you feel like you were losing control and that's part of what made you snap?
28:24Absolutely.
28:25Actually go on that panic mode, right?
28:27When you got abandonment issues, right?
28:29When you grew up with abandonment issues and this person tried to leave you,
28:33you can automatically feel like your world is crashing down on you, right?
28:38So that mindset going your, so, so that thought going in your head,
28:42if you can't have, if I can't have you, nobody is going to have you.
28:48And I had a box cutter already in my pocket from,
28:51because I used to stock shelves at a grocery store.
28:53So I already had it in my pocket.
28:55So I snapped, took out the, took out the box cutter and
29:02got on the ground and tried to slit her throat.
29:04And then her father jumped on top of me and saved her.
29:11So Lisa said that you hadn't been going to work those past few days.
29:15Yeah, because I was stalking her.
29:17So if you weren't going to work, why did you keep the box cutter on you?
29:20Because this was, because I'm thinking the whole time I'm planning this murder.
29:25Oh, so you did plan it out?
29:27Yes.
29:41How long did you plan that attack?
29:43Hmm.
29:47I'd say probably a couple months.
29:52Well, just thinking about the, the, the place where I'm going to do it at,
29:56where I'm going to do it at, because it was an instance where I followed her
29:59and her friends to the grocery store.
30:01If I was going to do it in the grocery store, outside the grocery store,
30:04where, if I was going to do it while she was sleeping,
30:06if I was going to do it while we're alone.
30:09So these are my thoughts at the time.
30:11My plan was to kill her so she wouldn't go and be with nobody else.
30:15But you knew her, you knew her folks and your son were there.
30:18What about them?
30:19I didn't care about none of that.
30:21I didn't even care about my own son at that time, man.
30:24What does that say about your mindset then?
30:26That says that my mind is up.
30:28And that's, that my thoughts is up.
30:31And that's where I go when I'm in that controlling mole.
30:36Did you ever love her?
30:37I cared about her at a certain extent.
30:42Did I love her?
30:43No, I don't think so.
30:44I love what she can do for me.
30:46But I tell them that.
30:48So are you capable of love?
30:50I could pretend I'm capable of love.
30:57Yeah, I could pretend, I'm really good at pretending.
31:00But do I, is I capable of really loving somebody?
31:03No.
31:07But I'm a good pretender though.
31:09Do you feel there's like a different version of you inside?
31:12Like there's that anger, there's that rage filled version of you?
31:15Absolutely.
31:16I feel like it's another side of me.
31:24That you don't want to know that I can't contain.
31:26I mean, I could contain it.
31:28As long as I stay out of mess.
31:30But is that realistic, right?
31:31Is that realistic?
31:32I mean, we're going to have problems.
31:36I'm going to have problems with people, right?
31:40I got to learn how to walk away.
31:43But how do you walk away when somebody put their hands on you?
31:47I'm not saying that's an excuse, but that's just where my mind go.
31:51You're not reformed then, are you?
31:53I guess you could say I'm not reformed then.
31:56Because my mind is going to still go there.
31:58My mind automatically go to homicide, right?
32:01I'm going to kill this person.
32:06Exactly.
32:20You all right?
32:21Yeah.
32:22Nervous?
32:23Yeah.
32:24I'm nervous.
32:25I'm really curious to see what he's going to say.
32:38When is the last time you've seen and heard his voice?
32:41Been a long time.
32:43Talk to me about New Year's Eve, 2008.
32:50She was trying to leave me and I was threatening her life to kill her.
32:56Why didn't you just let her go?
32:59I'm trying to let her go because I was very controlling at the time.
33:04I wanted to do my thing and control her and have her at the same time.
33:11I was hella controlling her.
33:13Like isolating her and everything.
33:15I should go in that panic mode and a person trying to leave you,
33:19you're going to automatically feel like your world is crashing down on you, right?
33:23Because I can't stand seeing you with somebody else.
33:26So I'll try to kill her so she won't be with nobody else.
33:33He admitted it.
33:41It's a lot of mixed emotions hearing him say that.
33:44It's the first time I heard him say that he knew he was controlling me.
33:50He makes it so much worse that he knows, that he knew.
33:56And I believe he finally said it.
34:07He looks crazy.
34:09He looks crazy.
34:10Okay.
34:11Yeah, this is .
34:20How long did you plan that attack?
34:29I'd say probably a couple of months.
34:33So were you planning on killing her even before you knew she wanted to break up?
34:37Absolutely.
34:42I lost all my control.
34:44So my control is to get rid of her.
34:47So then I won, right?
34:49Then I don't have to worry about that.
34:56That's scary.
34:59I had no idea.
35:04What the ?
35:05He really wanted me dead.
35:20I had no idea.
35:23Oh, that makes me appreciate so much more that I'm here.
35:26I cannot believe it was that long.
35:32That's beyond scary that he was able to sit there for weeks, months and hide the fact that he was thinking to hurt me.
35:49He's evil.
35:52He's evil.
36:01With Megan, you remember starting to choke her, right?
36:04Yeah.
36:05And then you remember her eyes rolling back.
36:06Yeah.
36:07But you couldn't control yourself to release her?
36:09No.
36:10Because once I'm there, I'm already here.
36:12What's the point?
36:13Stop it.
36:14So did you black out at all when you killed Megan?
36:18As I look back, I remember everything with that situation.
36:21I loved the iron, as you can see, right?
36:24So it was an iron right there.
36:26My first mind was to pick up the iron and hit her with it.
36:29I chose not to do that.
36:31Instead, I choked her.
36:34So you were conscious of what you were doing.
36:37Yes.
36:38I mean, you may not be able to control it, but you were conscious of what you were doing.
36:41Absolutely.
36:42So did you black out for any of Megan's murder?
36:44No, I don't think so.
36:52That's scary.
36:56Because he told me he blacked out.
36:58But he was fully aware of everything that he was doing.
37:03And at any point in time, he couldn't let her go.
37:07And for him to say that he was already there, what was the point?
37:12You're a murderer.
37:14Like, why you couldn't just let her go?
37:18I think Corey lied to me about being aware of killing Megan,
37:25because he knew if I knew that, that he was aware of that,
37:29I probably would never speak to him again.
37:39When is your expected date to get out of prison?
37:41Well, 2034 on paper, right?
37:4524, 30 on paper.
37:46So on paper, 10 more years left.
37:48Wow.
37:50Do you think you'd kill again?
37:52Wow.
37:58I don't know.
37:59I don't have the answer to that question.
38:04So this is my last chance.
38:05I'm gonna try my hardest.
38:07Um, I can't make that decision now.
38:11I don't know what I'm gonna do until I'm faced in
38:17with a certain situation or scenario.
38:26So I don't want my words to, to, to, man,
38:29I don't know if I should say this on camera, man.
38:34Okay, so...
38:36My brother, right?
38:41My same mother, man.
38:43I threatened this life before, right?
38:46But I wasn't worried about this dude.
38:48So he called up here about a couple months ago.
38:51Called the warden up here.
38:53And tried to get me in trouble.
38:55Right?
38:57So the first thing that come to my mind is what?
39:01I'm gonna get out and kill this dude, man.
39:03He tried to get me in trouble.
39:05See, that's a different situation.
39:07He didn't put his hands on me,
39:08but he tried to get me in trouble.
39:10Right?
39:11So, yes, it's scary.
39:12My mind do still go there.
39:19What the ?
39:28He'll do it again.
39:30You just said it.
39:31I don't ever want to see him or speak to him again.
39:38Ever.
39:42I do think Cory is gonna try to get back in my life once he gets out.
39:48And I'm scared to death.
39:49I feel very lucky that I survived Cory.
40:00I'm still here.
40:03My son still has his mother.
40:07And I've kept all of this from my son.
40:10Including him knowing who his real father is.
40:16I've got rid of pictures.
40:19I've made everybody lie to my son.
40:24And not tell him who his father is.
40:30Because I'm just trying to protect him.
40:34I just, I don't want him to know.
40:39I don't want him to know.
40:40I don't want him to know.
40:43I hope he can understand that.
40:47I really do.
40:51Cory getting out.
40:54Worries me a lot.
40:56I'm worried for myself.
41:01But I'm more worried about my son.
41:02I'm worried about my son.
41:13Ponsor County 9-1-1.
41:15I just killed my mom and my sister.
41:17Why?
41:19I'm pretty, I guess, evil.
41:21He realized Mallory was still alive.
41:23Why didn't he let her run out that front door?
41:26I wanted to be known for something bad and evil.
