00:00This is a story about a girl. Her name is Amy. Some call her Ivan. This is a story about a girl and she's part of the plan of God.
00:24And nothing can ever separate her from it. She's got bravery. She's not afraid. She's not afraid of what people think. And nothing, her, her story is...
00:47We continue, girls. We're going to go to Luke chapter 13 and we continue to what we're talking about about the parable of the mustard seed and the yeast.
01:05We have done good, girls. And we know that the parable of the mustard seed, we have heard other parables like these.
01:14And it's Luke chapter 13 verse 18 to 21.
01:24And it tells Jesus, what is the kingdom of God like? What should I compare it to? Is it like a mustard seed?
01:35Which a man took and planted in his garden. And it grew and became a tree. And the birds perched in its branches.
01:42Here we talk something important, Amy. About something that Jesus makes an example of a tree. About growing the branches.
01:52And that yeast. And that yeast will grow. And it's something about that good lesson that Jesus talks about.
01:59That the kingdom of heaven grows inside us. And it grows. And it's something good, Amy.
02:04That we should listen to Jesus here who compares his kingdom. Like we should be growing like seeds and mustard inside of us to become trees.
02:14Become those people, servants that he wants us to be in his kingdom. Something very good, Amy.
02:21Next. Luke chapter 13 verse 22. 30. The narrow door. And something important we talk about, Amy.
02:32That sometimes. And here Jesus went to towns and villages. Make every effort to enter the narrow door.
02:43Because many I tell you will try to enter and will not be able to. Once the owner of the house gets up and close to the door,
02:49you will stand outside knocking and pleading sir, open the door for us. I don't know you or where you come from.
02:56We have to be wise, Amy. To go through the hard tests that we sometimes have to go and live life.
03:04And to go through the narrow door. Sometimes the test will be like that. It's better to go through the narrow door. It's harder, Amy.
03:15But sometimes that's what we needed to do. Next we go to Luke chapter 14. God has blessed us, Amy.
03:26And reading the Bible is always good for all of us, Amy. Always good.
03:31Luke chapter 14 verse 1 to 14.
03:33Jesus at home of a Pharisee. And he gives a parable.
03:37And here he gives something very important.
03:41He talks about how will a servant serve him.
03:48And sometimes he gives something a very good one.
03:56It talks about how all those who exalt themselves will be humbled.
04:01And those who humble themselves will be exalted.
04:04It's something important that to make yourself, you know, sometimes humble, you will be rewarded,
04:10you will be given things, you will be given good.
04:13But those who will exalt themselves will be humble because God will repent them, God will correct them,
04:19God will punish them so they can realize they have to be humble.
04:22And it's not easy. It's not easy.
04:25Next we go to the parable of the great banquet.
04:32And it's Luke chapter 14 verse 15 to 34.
04:40And here it talks about something.
04:43A certain man was preparing a great banquet and inviting many guests.
04:49And he was trying to invite.
04:55And his servants.
04:58But soon began to make excuses.
05:01First said, I just bought a field and I must go and see.
05:04Please excuse me.
05:05Another said, I just bought five yoke of oaks and I'm on my way to try to fry them out.
05:10Please excuse me.
05:12I said, I just got married. I can't.
05:15And then he tells the master, go out of the roads and cut your legs and compel them to come so that my husband will be full.
05:22I tell you, no one of those who were invited will get a taste of my banquet.
05:27This is important maybe that we don't realize that sometimes we don't put God first.
05:33That we have certain things like our responsibilities that sometimes come in our way.
05:37And some responsibilities can be, you know, important.
05:42But some, you know, we can put them aside and put always God first and realize that he is inviting us to a banquet.
05:49And as an example, that what should we do is that we always heed God and we always pay attention to him and not lose our place when we're invited.
06:00And sometimes maybe you will see that if we're not careful, we lose our place and we will not be invited to the banquet or we will not go.
06:08We will not go to heaven.
06:09Something very, very complicated, but we must put God first.
06:13Luke chapter 14 verse 25 to 35.
06:19The cost of being a disciple.
06:21And here is something important that talks about putting God first.
06:25And he makes very good examples of a family building a tower to estimate the cost.
06:32Suppose the king goes for war against another king.
06:36And sometimes this is a hard thing, but it does make sense to be that we should worship him and that we always put him first.
06:44And it's hard for all of us, but it is wisdom above all.
06:48God will help you.
06:49God will help you.
06:50Next, we go to Luke chapter 15 verse 1 to 7.
06:58The parable of the lost sheep.
07:01And you have heard this one, maybe.
07:05And now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus.
07:13It says, Jesus, suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them.
07:18Does not he leave the night in open country and go after the last sheep until he finds it?
07:24Rejoice with me, I have found my last sheep.
07:27It is hard.
07:29It is hard.
07:30God is good.
07:31And this shows us that sometimes he will go through so many problems.
07:36A lot of our brothers, I know people, are lost sheep.
07:40And they lost their way.
07:42God went and looked for them.
07:44And many lost sheep out there, A.V., and it's important that we go for them.
07:49Because they belong to be with the kingdom of God and with us.
07:54Next, the parable of the lost son.
07:59Luke chapter 15 verse 11 to 32.
08:05In here, A.V., we look at another important one.
08:08Where Jesus makes an example of a young man who is a lost son and he goes through all these problems.
08:15And his father, even though he lost himself, still loves him.
08:19And he returned to his place and he didn't treat him like a servant.
08:24Sometimes, as the hard things about God loves us, it's important to listen about family, A.V.
08:30And Jesus, he tells it so we can always remember the love we must have for our children, for our sons, that sometimes we all make mistakes.
08:40God loves and he forgives, A.V., he loves and he forgives.
08:44Oh, that's what's important, A.V.
08:47The parable of the lost son.
08:50Oh, it's important sometimes we all make mistakes.
08:54My dad corrects me, I know he loves me.
08:57And it's hard, it's hard, A.V.
09:01Oh, A.V., that is a complicated thing to put God above all other things in our life, our family.
09:09Our friends, oh, to be invited to the banquet if we don't realize that we must always put God first.
09:18We might lose our place in that banquet and it's hard.
09:22Oh, sometimes it's complicated, all those things, but it's something we must do.
09:26Oh, hiya.
09:29Really, sometimes it's hard.
09:32God is right, but it's complicated for all of us.
09:36I do believe very much that we can look for God and ask him to help our family.
09:41It's hard for us to put him above everything because we're not taught, we're not taught to be doing those things.
09:48And it's something we have to sometimes force ourselves and try really hard to do those things because it's not easy.
09:55And for all of us, family is always more important than many things in our life.
10:00And to put God above all those things, it's something that we all have to be to show that we are his servants and that we are his worshippers.
10:09I know.
10:10I know.
10:11I know there, Melissa.
10:12I know.
10:13It's hard.
10:14It takes time.
10:15But it's something important.
10:17Sometimes tests in life will come that way.
10:20It's good to be prepared and wise to be always heeding God's wisdom and his scripture so he can help us always in those times.
10:30He will help us, A.B. But don't worry.
10:33He does want the family to survive.
10:35He does.
10:36He will make those tests.
10:37Sometimes, just like Abraham with Isaac, Moses had to leave his home.
10:43And sometimes, he didn't know that the tests would have gone and come.
10:47And a lot of prophets also had to do those things and they had to pass.
