00:00This is a story about a girl. Her name is Amy. Some call her Ivan. This is a story about a girl and she's part of the plan of God.
00:24And nothing can ever separate her from it. She's got bravery. She's not afraid. She's not afraid of what people think. And nothing, her, her story is...
00:47We have done a good research and we're reading the Bible, Amy. We continue with Luke. And I'm very pleased, girls. I know, girls, you have been doing good. And we will continue.
00:57Oh, oh, well, well. I'm happy. We're doing good things. I remember talking about Laura. Talking about the other guy. Talking about the bald guy. Oh, I'm happy.
01:14Amy, don't call Mr. Steve that way. Steve Freeman. He's a good guy. I'm going to later introduce you girls to him.
01:22Okay, girls. Okay, I'm happy. You girls.
01:26We'll continue now with Luke chapter verse... chapter 16, verse 1 to 14.
01:31And sometimes it's something important we talk about the servants.
01:35Here we hear the... how Jesus talks about a servant here.
01:41That he served a master. And the master realized he did bad management.
01:46But here's something important, Amy. This is some of those things that in the Bible we're going to learn. Life skills.
01:52And sometimes you're going to be working, you know, in a store, in a factory.
01:56You know, I knew another brother, which I will not name.
01:59And he... he worked for some company.
02:03And he was working for a long time.
02:05You know, he was doing something for a grocery store, something like that.
02:08And he made mistakes.
02:12And sometimes in the real life, he tried to, you know, survive.
02:17And he went to many stores. And he learned from his lessons.
02:21But it's something... to be sometimes true, like snakes.
02:24Like Jesus says, you know, when we're talking in the other verses.
02:28And to be a servant of God.
02:30But sometimes, you know, we have to be...
02:33even though in our mistakes, we have to be still a servant of God.
02:36And survive sometimes, Amy, those problems.
02:41And what he did is that he learned from those lessons.
02:43He went about in his life asking for favors and above all.
02:48Find other options.
02:49But he was a good guy.
02:51And sometimes he learned it from this verse here.
02:54And he continues that to act shrewdly.
02:58And to be a servant that is wise there, Amy.
03:02And sometimes, Amy, Christian, who we put in that... in that way.
03:06When they have to manage sometimes the work.
03:10And sometimes by mistakes.
03:12When something happens.
03:13He will sometimes even lose his job or have a problem.
03:16And he has to be shrewd and ask favors, ask help.
03:20And Ababa, even though it tells us how to do some things about practicing life problems and life skills, Amy.
03:27The whole thing also tells us that we also have to be vigilant and to be serving God and not having two masters but have one.
03:36And even though it will seem that it contradicts maybe especially Jesus explains us that we have to be wise, shrewd, always shrewd management.
03:49That we have to be serving Jesus above all.
03:52And serving God above all, above all the things.
03:54And to have that type of faithfulness of the teachings of the Bible of Jesus that we see here applied.
04:04Jesus telling them how this man was shrewd.
04:07How he was intelligent because one, he served his master but he looked for an alternative.
04:13And he didn't, you know, lose what he was learning and being what he was doing, a servant.
04:19And Jesus tells us as an example of being a servant of God about having not two masters.
04:26And even though he was under pressure, he didn't lose it or become an evil servant that will just try to sell all the other things from his master or try to do wrong to his master.
04:37He went to look for an alternative.
04:40And he kept being the servant that Jesus wants us to be that still even though those problems happen in real life.
04:48Not to lose it or not to stop believing in Jesus and stop being his servant.
04:53Even though those things will happen to us, will happen to all of us.
04:56And be always a servant that will do those things in real life of being a manager or being helping someone else in a store and being a worker there.
05:06And still be the good person and be following the good teachings that Jesus gave.
05:10And doing those things still is how we will be still loyal.
05:16We will still be loyal to God and still faithful to him.
05:19And use those teachings in the Bible when we do work or when we do business.
05:24And not to be a servant that will fall away or be a servant that will do wrong to his master.
05:30Continues to be a servant that will survive but above all will be shrewd.
05:34And still have those teachings that he learns from the Bible.
05:39Still have those teachings he learns from God.
05:41And he serves his master.
05:44And learn the things from the Bible and apply them.
05:47And still be faithful to his master and not the world.
05:50Not to business.
05:52That's something important maybe to keep ourselves still.
05:55You know, keep our integrity.
05:57And above all be wise like that butler.
06:00Because those things will happen to us in real life baby.
06:05Next, Luke chapter 16 verse 19 to 31.
06:09The rich and Lazarus.
06:13Hope.
06:14For when a man that, if Jesus explained Lazarus being a poor man, he will be saved.
06:20Rich man had his riches.
06:22The reality of it all is that will you have richness.
06:25Like this man who had riches.
06:26He fell and even though he paid punishment for being a man who wasn't wise with his richness.
06:35Lazarus was saved for being a man who was poor, a beggar.
06:39But still he was a servant of the Lord.
06:42And it's important maybe something that even though we have our times maybe.
06:46We still be servants of the Lord maybe.
06:49Like Lazarus.
06:51And like the butler.
06:53Next, Luke chapter 17, 1 to 10.
06:58Do not make others stumble.
07:01That's something important for women and men to do.
07:03And maybe sometimes we have to be wise, maybe not to make others stumble.
07:07Judging or doing something to trap people.
07:09Or doing some bad things that we do to others.
07:12And I know girls, you have your own experience with them.
07:15And it happens maybe by something we must avoid because we wish others to enter the kingdom in heaven.
07:21We must do everything to help the others try to enter the kingdom in heaven by not judging and doing wrong to them.
07:27Of putting traps.
07:30Next, Luke chapter 17, verse 20 to 37.
07:34The coming of the kingdom.
07:35Here we talk about again Jesus, explaining the Bible of his kingdom.
07:41And it's important maybe that we always remember that kingdom is something spiritual.
07:47And Jesus' kingdom is something hard for all of us.
07:50But he gives it to all of us.
07:52To all those who listen to what his teachings say and what the Bible says.
07:57Next, Luke chapter 18, verse 9 to 14.
08:03The Pharisees and the tax collector.
08:06It's a lesson about being humble, maybe.
08:09Here, the tax collector and the Pharisees.
08:13The Pharisee proclaimed he was good.
08:16And he was thankful not to be like the tax collector.
08:19But the tax collector was humble and he asked God for forgiveness.
08:24Being humble.
08:25And something that Jesus says, you must be humble like the tax collector.
08:31Next, we go to Luke chapter 18, verse 15 to 17.
08:37To be a child, says Jesus.
08:39And maybe this is important that we are all supposed to be, like Jesus says, children.
08:45Children and to act like them.
08:48And it's hard because when we get old, we lose that way.
08:51And we don't remember no more.
08:52But it's something that Jesus wants us to try to be, maybe.
08:56And it's a good thing, maybe.
08:57And it's a good thing.
08:59Something for all of us to do, woman and man.
09:03Oh, well, well.
09:04I can't agree about you.
09:07About the rich and Lazarus.
09:09Something very important to do.
09:11Oh, hiya.
09:20The Pharisees and the tax collector are something important.
09:23Being a child again or to be like a child, it's something hard.
09:27Because it's something we do not touch in this world.
09:30The world teaches us to be adults.
09:33To serve money and to serve the system.
09:37I don't like it.
09:39It's hard for us to be a child.
09:40I'm still young and being a child.
09:43And still, we're young girls.
09:46I'm near 17 years old.
09:49And it's hard for us, pal.
09:51I know, girls.
09:52I know.
09:53It's something hard to be a child.
09:55It's something hard to be a servant in this world.
09:58And to be shrewd like snakes and innocent like those.
10:01We have to be worried.
10:03I know, girls.
10:04But it's something that God does give us.
10:06That we can be like children.
10:08And receive the kingdom of heaven.
10:09And be like in the kingdom of heaven like those children.
10:12And something important.
10:15And also, not to make others stumble.
10:17But it's something important, A.V.
10:19And we're doing a good job.
10:21I'll talk to you girls later.
10:24Okay, A.V.
10:25Oh, also, I forgot, girls.
10:27You know, I'm going to talk to you about Ryan.
10:30I have a friend.
10:32Ryan's a good man.
10:34I'm going to tell you later.
10:35I'm going to do this to you girls.
10:37He's a good guy.
10:38He used to be in the army.
10:40He did a good time.
10:42And the guy, he was always looking to be the best.
10:47You know, girl, I'm going to tell you because he's an important person.
10:50He came to the church.
10:52I told him many things in the Bible.
10:56He started to serve the Lord.
10:59Something very good, A.V.
11:00Something good.
11:01And, you know, I'm going to tell you about his life later.
11:04You're going to meet him, girls.
11:06Okay, I'll talk to you later, girls.
11:08I love you.
11:08Take care.
