Should political dynasties be banned? Some Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas senatorial candidates on May 3, 2025 airs support for renewed calls to pass a law banning political dynasties in the country. During a pre-ally press conference in Batangas, former senator Ping Lacson said he planned to re-file a bill that would fulfill the 1987 Constitution's provision against political dynasties if he wins a seat in the Senate.
