Coming up this week we'll meet the North East Legion - a group of Star Wars cosplayers who put their high-quality replica costumes to good use by helping raise money for charities across the region.

00:01Coming up this week, a group of Star Wars cosplayers

00:04who raise eyebrows and a lot of money for charity.

00:07When we see the kids, the adults see Star Wars cosplay

00:10and think, oh my God, we need to go and get a photograph.

00:12Er, yeah. I didn't tell my partner how much it cost,

00:16but it was plenty.

00:17Unfortunately, I've got a great thing for buying a costume.

00:21It might look fantastic on somebody else.

00:23As soon as I put it on, it doesn't look as good.

00:30People aren't expecting to bum into Stormtroopers and Darth Vader

00:34while they're doing a weekly shot.

00:36We help charities and events with Star Wars characters.

00:39I hired the group to an event that I was hosting,

00:41and I thought, you know, just the work to do for charity,

00:43I'm going to get myself a costume and get right involved.

00:45I spent about 20, 30 days working on The Last Jedi.
