00:00So let's go to Jimenez reporter Dougie Beatty. Dougie is on a pedalo if you're listening on
00:04the radio, looking fabulous in his summer threads and his sunglasses. Dougie, what's going on?
00:12Scorchio, scorchio. Yeah, usually when I report the weather, I'm standing at the side of a
00:20cliff somewhere talking about the weather and getting absolutely soaked and battered by the
00:24wind. What a lovely day to be in London. Londoners are so lucky to have this park. I mean, I've just
00:30been sitting here for about the last 10 minutes and taking it all in, although I must say most of
00:35the people around here are quackers. But the sunshine is absolutely fabulous. People are out,
00:43there's runners, there's families walking in the parks and they even have slurry tankers,
00:50small slurry tankers out watering the grass. Obviously no slurry in it, just water. And that's
00:54how hot it is getting at this moment in time. I must say being out in the lake is a bit of a
01:01gift for me because I seem to have a thing about elm pollen and of course the pollen is quite high
01:06today. So that is actually really causing problems for hay fever sufferers. But other than that,
01:12get out there, enjoy the sun. Londoners are so lucky. In fact, it's amazing to think the city of
01:18London is just in behind me and I'm sitting in this park. But Patrick Christie, he told me last
01:23night, he said, ah Dougie, most of these paddles, they're motorized, you'll be okay. What a liar.
01:29Do you know how much power it takes to pedal one of these things to get a few feet? This is not as
01:35glorious. It's going to take me half an hour getting back.
