Transcript

00:03So these are events where the Prime Minister is primarily there to be photographed and to have footage taken.
00:09One at a polling booth held by LNP candidate Ross Faster.
00:13But the main event today was a walkthrough in Morton held by retiring Labour MP Graham Parrott.
00:20So the Prime Minister and Treasurer just did a walk around of a local food court.
00:23I'm in Brisbane where the Prime Minister started the day with a press conference in the electorate of Griffith held by Greens MP Max Chandler-Mather.
00:37Labour are really hopeful of picking up a few of the seats that fell to the Greens at the last election come Saturday.
00:43The big focus was on housing, but the Prime Minister also appeared alongside Treasurer Jim Chalmers
00:48to talk about some of their costings and their savings on consultants, contractors and labour hire
00:53if they are re-elected.

01:11Some people were quite excited running up to the Prime Minister, presenting their dogs, getting selfies.
01:17But you could also see quite a few locals, a little bit bothered by all the fuss, trying to enjoy their lunch.
01:24Next, we're off to Canberra where the Prime Minister will give his National Press Club speech.
01:29After that, we're expecting the pace to really pick up in the final sprint towards the election.
