00:00TikTok wellness coach Janelle Rohner is getting dragged online for using a weight loss tool while
00:04selling a weight loss program and the internet is calling her a fraud for it. Janelle, a certified
00:10macros coach and nurse, built her brand on keto recipes, macro counting, what I eat in a day
00:15videos, and transformation photos as a mom of two, all while selling a $200 course promising to change
00:22your life. Hello and welcome back to my channel. I am Janelle Rohner, certified macro coach. Let's
00:27do week one and two of my fitness challenge. But now her credibility is crumbling as her weight loss
00:33has not been completely natural. Yes, over the last year I have decided to make some new choices in my
00:39health. Last week, Janelle admitted in a five-minute YouTube video that she's been using a GLP-1 drug
00:45like Ozempic or Monjaro to help with her weight loss for almost a year now. I started working with a
00:50doctor and we did decide to add a GLP-1 to my plan. And while GLP-1 medications have become a popular
00:59trend, fans are upset that Janelle promoted her macro counting results to sell a $200 course. Without
01:05disclosing, she has also been using what she calls a tool to help. GLP-1s are not magic. I still had to
01:13show up. In the YouTube video, Janelle stated she's speaking up now because she promised to be honest
01:18with her followers and feels proud of her progress. But she may have also felt forced to open up as
01:23the influencer mentioned in a corresponding social media post that she has been getting asked which
01:28GLP-1 she's been using all over her social media profiles. Okay, so I have seen this question all
01:34over my page on all of my videos over the last couple of months and let's talk about it. And since the
01:43confession, refund requests have flooded her page along with calls from others to see the fitness
01:48influencer completely canceled. Ultimately, the internet feels Janelle has deceived and betrayed
01:53her fans and only really cares about the money. One fan even commented, this all boils down to money.
01:59Even this TikTok is telling everyone to go to the YouTube because then she gets the money for those
02:04views and engagement too. After heavy criticism, Janelle responded in normal influencer apology fashion,
02:10clarifying she's not asking for sympathy. Okay, I'm not asking for sympathy. I'm just trying to do the
02:18right thing and I'm trying to be honest now. She also reminded her audience that she could have kept
02:23this a secret, a comment that didn't go over well with her audience, as one critic wrote,
02:28I could have kept lying to you. While Janelle is trying to make things right and even offered a refund,
02:33I am willing to do a refund for anybody who bought a class in the last 11 months.
02:38Many believe the damage is already done, with some even predicting a lawsuit. But what's your take?
