00:00So Tori, tell us, what big issues will you be voting on this election?
00:06For me health is a big issue, particularly hospitals, because I've spent a lot of time in and out of hospital, particularly the last two years.
00:15And I've seen how much they're struggling.
00:18And I was really disappointed to see when the budget was announced that neither major parties have any extra funding for hospitals.
00:26I was on dialysis and I just recently got a transplant.
00:30But there's such a shortage of machines and an increase of patients.
00:36The government would rather spend $300 million on the Parramatta Stadium than buying new machines to save lives and keep Australians alive.
00:45It's apparently at third world level now, our dialysis.
00:50So while we get free health care, which I'm totally grateful for, it's amazing.
00:55It's just upsetting that doctors are being forced into this position where they have to cut treatments.
01:04Is there anything in particular you would like to see from the parties around health?
01:10So there's a lot of money wasted and I would love to see them put money into useful places at the hospital.
01:17Talk to the staff that work there.
01:19Where is the funding needed?
01:21Where should it go?
01:23Having a nice new hospital is great.
01:26Having it empty because there's no staff and there's no resources is useless.
01:31So the election is just weeks away.
01:33Who do you think you'll be voting for?
01:35It's a hard choice because there's no one I like and in my electorate I'll probably vote for my independent who's already in.
01:44I know that people I'm friends with and my family generally aren't happy with Labor and don't particularly love Liberal policies.
01:54So I think they're also going to go independent.
01:58It'll be interesting to see the outcome of the election.
02:01I do think there'll be a rise in independence because neither major party are very appealing to people at the moment.
02:08Thanks so much for sharing all of your thoughts and views with us on ABC News Breakfast today.
02:13Thank you so much.
