00:00Right after Trump was elected, I made appointments to get both my state ID
00:04and birth certificate changed to have an ex-gender marker.
00:07I live in constant fearful anticipation of whether I will be able to receive
00:11life-saving gender affirming care, but knowing my legal existence had just been erased
00:17took a massive toll on me.
00:18Happy Trans Day of Visibility, everyone!
00:22It's been a lot. I feel like I'm going to something every week or
00:26basically, since Trump has gone into office, I've basically been propelled into action.
00:31What do we see? They're bending the knee.
00:37We are strong!
00:38Are we strong?
00:43We are the people!
00:44Two!
00:45Say it louder!
00:46Three!
00:47We want justice!
00:48Four!
00:48Three!
00:49Three!
00:49Four!
00:50Four!
00:50Four!
00:51Five!
00:52Four!
00:52Five!
00:53Five!
00:54All of my legal documents have an X on it,
00:56which kind of counteracts Trump's statement on his first day in office,
01:00that the government only now recognizes male and female.
01:02So my existence is sort of the contradiction to Trump's statement.
01:07Each one has devastating effects for the country, but also singular people.
01:28And that's something that we just need to combat, because everybody has a personal story
01:33on how the Trump administration is targeting and affecting them.
01:37And for me, it's my fundamental rights.
01:40And that's very hard.
01:45I think honestly, a lot of the
01:48she made a statement that's sort of, New York's amazing.
01:51I think there's just this community of New Yorkers, and like I mentioned earlier, like new states.
01:57So many colleges I'm looking at, that state will not allow me to have health care.
02:02And if I go off campus, I will not be able to use the bathroom that corresponds with my gender identity.
02:08So sadly, the current laws against trans people are a factor in my college decisions,
02:13because depending on the state, I won't have rights.
02:17It seems like a lawless land.
02:19And as much as we can fight to try to protect and reinstate the law,
02:23we don't know what's going to happen.
02:24So all we can do is keep fighting and honestly hope that at some point,
02:28our voices not only get heard, but respected and listened to.
02:33And we need to keep coming out in numbers,
02:35because that's seemingly the only thing we can do.
02:37Fight!
02:38How do people unite?
02:40It's time to fight!
02:42Hey!
02:43Hey!
02:44Hey!
02:45Hey!
02:46Hey!
02:47Hey!
02:48Hey!
02:49Hey!
02:50Hey!
02:51Hey!
02:52Hey!
02:53Hey!
02:55Hey!
03:16Hi!
03:17Hey!
