00:08i'm debbie mazella at karmacat zendog rescue society in milltown we have so much to talk about
00:14and we're just going to kind of dive right into it starting with some upcoming events there's going
00:18to be a holiday shopping and gift event coming up on november 25th from one to five at bell works
00:24and it's going to be a fresh holiday market you will find the merch that karmacat makes
00:29and a whole bunch of other great things and we have the info of course on the kitty corner page
00:33and you can check that out and make sure to do some holiday shopping with karmacat also another
00:38big event coming up on saturday december 2nd it's going to be noon to 2 at route 516 animal hospital
00:45in old bridge it'll be pet photos with santa and mrs claus you may recognize mrs claus and you may
00:52see all the people actually you will see all the people from karmacat there with their merch for
00:56sale and proceeds from that event will benefit karmacat so please come out bring your pet noon to
01:01two and get a photo and benefit this great rescue here in milltown now coming up on december 9th it
01:08is going to be the trenton punk rock flea market and that is going to be called wreck the halls and if
01:13you have cats and especially a kitten you know that that is so true so that is december 9th trenton
01:19punk rock flea market you'll find the merch there and other great items and then karmacat is doing a
01:24really cool event coming up on saturday december 30th it is going to be happy meow year with an
01:30adoption event from 11 to 7 with half price adoptions and i guarantee you'll see magic 98.3 on site as
01:38well so you know they always do great adoption events here and do such wonderful things for the
01:43community and for the animals so you can come out and support that now janine is going to be telling you
01:48how you can sponsor a townhouse or a condo here it is super simple super easy and everybody that comes
01:54into the rescue will see your name so janine is going to tell you all about that great thanks so
01:59yes there are so many different ways that you can support karmacat whether it's uh purchasing some of
02:05our handmade merch that all of our volunteers have made because they make amazing holiday gifts so if
02:11you need something like a scarf with paw prints on it that lauren is modeling we do have a lot or
02:18earrings like gina has we have so many gifts that will be perfect for all the animal lovers and cat
02:24lovers in your life so another way that you can support karmacat is to sponsor a townhouse or apartment
02:31where everyone who comes into our adoption center will see your name on the the enclosures here so that
02:37is a monthly donation and lauren is going to talk about some of the other ways that you can support
02:42karmacat so as always we are hoping to add to our volunteer team we're looking for a wide variety of
02:50volunteers we need cleaners to come in and help feed the animals take care of them make sure everybody's
02:58got a clean space to live in and keep our adoption center clean we're especially looking for morning and
03:04evening weekend cleaners but we do have some shifts available during the week as well we're looking
03:09for help with our social media team so if social media is your jam feel free to reach out and get
03:15in touch with us so we can get you set up to help out there we're always looking for help with fundraising
03:21whether it's merchandise crafting event planning helping out with the merchandise events to help sell
03:29people items things like that we're always looking for help with all of those things and of course
03:35fosters if you've got space in your home to welcome a kitty or two we would love to have you join our
03:43foster team it's kind of the best way to give back without having to leave your house so reach out on
03:50the website and we will be in touch and now gina will talk about some of those featured adoptables that
03:56we have this month okay our featured adoptables this month we have a great foursome here we have
04:02victoria she's seven years old and she's a dilute calico she is sweet she's adorable and she used to
04:12be shy but she's not shy anymore and she's very very loving we also have harry who is an amazing eight
04:20year old mush he is gray and white um super sweet super friendly very outgoing um and he's a big boy
04:29so if you like the big boys harry will be your man we have sam adams who is another big boy and he is a
04:36white and black cow kitty and he is seven years old he is um he prefers to be the only cat in your house
04:45but he will fill your home with love and our last featured adoptable for this month is anna she's a
04:51tuxedo and she's four years old she's super sweet and friendly she would prefer to be the only cat in
04:57your house as well but she will fill your days and evenings with cuddles and purrs and she's really really
05:05awesome cat and don't forget november is adopt a senior pet month so come in meet the cats and see if
05:14there's anybody that you might be interested in bringing home so gina mentioned that there was
05:20a quartet of cats available for adoption this quartet is not available for adoption but you
05:27will see them when you come to karma cat in milltown so please come over for the adoption hours even if
05:33you just want to walk around and see the cats and just kind of you know take an hour away from work and
05:38take an hour away from stress i guarantee you leave here with a smile on maybe some merch look here
05:44mrs claus okay she looks like me right she's missing the pink hair but you can come here you can get
05:51some merch like the earrings that they were talking about the scarf and meet the staff and who knows
05:55maybe you'll want to volunteer in the new year or take home a kitty so we will be back for our last
