00:00Well, I didn't know that he had knocked out a teammate. I mean, you know, that's that's number one.
00:05Quay Walker, when he was a freshman, so it was yes, it was fall of 2020, where he got a little altercation with the teammate, which happens all the time.
00:13But it doesn't always end in a knockout punch. And that's what sources described it as.
00:18So, you know, that was certainly something. And you also came to learn that there were coaches at Georgia who didn't go to bat for him because they felt like there was a sense of entitlement.
00:28And that the attitude wasn't where it needed to be and that the practice habits weren't where they needed to be.
00:34So that's the negative stuff. But it's not the entire picture. I mean, and you did a great job of pointing that out.
00:39Thank you. If you if you talk to his high school coach, as an example, or his strength trainer who worked with him prior to training camp and helped get him in shape like they paint a different picture of a guy who, yeah, he doesn't trust easy.
00:52And he's not just going to be like, hey, Jalen, you go do this. OK, I'm going to do whatever you say.
00:59Like you have to build up a rapport with him, a trust level with him in order for him to kind of get on board with what you're doing.
01:06But once you get him to that place, according to some people close to him, then then you have him.
01:12Then you have a guy that's that's dedicated and and obviously extraordinarily talented.
01:18And so that's where the Eagles come in is they have this support system led by Fletcher Cox and Brandon Graham.
01:25Carter said that Cox is in his ear every day, basically saying, like, how's your weight?
01:30Are you doing the right things? All those kind of deals.
01:34And, you know, we know Jason Kelsey and Lane Johnson and they they have the culture that they believe to kind of absorb him and to keep him on the right path.
