00:00so we're in the car it is a little before 10 a.m we just signed off on the air we're heading to
00:15Windsor yeah Windsor style pizza let's go we're gonna eat Windsor style pizza I'm doing jazz hands

00:30let us in man all right we're in the tunnel we are in the tunnel on our way to Canada you've been in
00:36the tunnel oh my god is that water is that water it's not good that it's moist inside of them we're
00:44heading up to the the the crossing here the border crossing Brian are you nervous yeah a little bit
00:49all right they were so nice and polite we did everything we were yes or no sir all that stuff
00:54he was why'd you have to pause when he asked if we had guns I did not pause when he asked if we had
00:59guns okay I kind of did oh my gosh I just don't like that so we're here with Joe Lantanino's right now
01:06we got we got our the the cheese that is yeah Uniondale mozzarella made by the Galati cheese
01:12company right here in Windsor Ontario best mozzarella in the world Galati Ryan Galati we got it
01:18that is the king size we were talking about earlier right that's the king says 32 piece what I'm
01:28making right now is what we call a large okay Aaron Windsor which is a 16 inch pie as opposed to
01:34most places where it's a 14 inch pie okay so now we're gonna go angry Hawaiian ham pineapple do we have
01:41pineapple oat for everybody say hi hey guys hey guys there's the mayor right over there too the mayor of
01:47Windsor's here you think we're joking now this is real bacon that we cook up in our ovens um and uh
01:56it's not bacon bits you don't believe me gonna believe you okay proof of concept oh yeah let's make
02:04or angry some hot peppers there we go so what is it about the cheese again we were talking so many
02:10people it's uh it's made with whole milk okay okay not skim milk powder which a lot of mozzarellas are
02:16made with skim milk powder in fact in Canada now if you don't have enough whole milk in your cheese
02:20you can't even call it mozzarella you got to call it pizza mozzarella or pizza cheese which basically
02:26means it's not a crap ladies and gentlemen the mayor of Windsor cheers and a lot of cheese
02:34so how how long have you been mayor here um two years less a day like a prison sentence okay so now
02:42the winds with the Windsor style pizza it was so much fun with our audience in Detroit and and the
02:48reaction from people there are people come from all over Canada to get Windsor style pizza all over
02:53Canada in fact you should ask Joe you should ask the other guys you're going to visit today
02:57how many pizzas they made last year or partially made last year they get shipped out of Windsor for
03:02people who are from Windsor originally or know and like the pieces so much that they order it special
03:08for delivery see now that's cool so you ship you told us Joe when you're on the air you ship them
03:12everywhere yeah we um what we tend to do is say if you have somebody here we'll prepare it we'll get it
03:19already then go see uh I think his name is Abdul at the UPS store on Google and he'll take care of it
03:25for you the shipping cost is so exorbitant we'd rather that the consumer uh deal with it themselves
03:32right because otherwise they'll think that man a hundred bucks to ship uh fifty dollars worth of
03:37pizza but uh anyways uh we did speaking to the mayor's point host 14 people from Michigan last week
03:47on a pizza tour here and I guess they were uh doing kind of what you guys are doing absolutely
03:52going to uh going to pizzerias locally and trying uh trying the pizzas um that was really cool
03:58it's fun though isn't it mayor it's fun I mean it's one of those things that I caught you with a
04:02mouthful of cheese there sorry it's all good I just waited but it's fun though I mean it's it's
04:06something it's cool and you know we obviously love our are you guys north southeast I I get so
04:12confused sometimes this is South Detroit I tried to get Steve Barrett to change it but he won't
04:18change it South Detroit is Windsor yeah have you put a South Detroit sign up have you ever thought
04:22about doing that well I think there's a restaurant called South Detroit or there was there was
04:25really yeah Neil Sean probably closed that too yeah um it's the jeopardy question right it is you
04:33guys are all over that man yeah but we're excited that you know being able to come back and forth now
04:38and I'm sure you know you and I were talking about it before mayor and and thank you for having us
04:41today yeah we're happy that the border's open you know we realize with our geography how much
04:45uh family relationships how much of a connection we have with folks in Detroit and we really are one
04:50region Windsor and Detroit and we certainly celebrate one another we're happy to have you here today
04:54all right so we're gonna go super first all right there's the melt
04:58that's awesome right about the mushrooms they work if not you get them like back home and down the
05:16can like you said they shrivel up yeah mushrooms okay and there's a little bit of bite in the sauce Joe
05:22yeah that's because we put more it's not necessarily the sauce is spicier we just put more more on it
05:28so yeah I like that and shredded pepperoni get some in every bite yeah gotta hate it when that one's
05:35slicing Ryan's tougher to get to try new things so if Ryan says it's good touch me me I'm five pounds
05:43from man round all right so this is the angry Hawaiian we're here at Antonino's our we're here at Antonino's
05:51our first our first stop our Wednesday did you grab one it's beautiful pizza it is beautiful
05:57good crust I'm a Hawaiian pizza guy actually I always have been I used to work in a good joint when I was in high school
06:09we didn't make it like this that and it works with a little bit of heat the peppers where they
06:16yeah take a bite of the crust crust is awesome that's the best that's my favorite part the crust is awesome
06:24awesome okay so I need another one of these to take over how many pizzas can we take over the border
06:31okay I don't know before you go to commercial enterprise
