Dave & Chuck the Freak talk about a flight out of an airport in Mexico that was taking gunfire while on the runway and imagine how crazy the in-flight announcements must have been.

00:10plane taking some gunfire oh yeah yeah that's what happened to a flight departing sinaloa

00:17mexico the airplane was hit by gunfire as they were about to take off isn't that the home of

00:27one of the major i think you're right tiz this was i say tiz too much often i don't know why

00:33but uh it was cartel crossfire yeah and as they were accelerating for takeoff the passengers on

00:41this plane heard gunshots that's when they all threw themselves to the floor how terrifying is

00:47that violence broke out there after the arrest of ovidio guzman the son of the notorious drug lord

00:54known as el chapo and a senior member of the sinaloa cartel i just feel like their plane

01:02announcements are crazy every time yeah that's what i was just like prepare for a very stressful

01:07takeoff just to remember it's gonna be a stressful time if the gunshots start to heat the plane

01:15just to lay down on the ground don't forget to pray yeah yeah oh wow they got photos yeah so

01:22there's people this is uh footage from inside the plane

01:25thank you for flying air at sinaloa everybody we're gonna need you to put on your seatbelts

01:35everybody please once the gunfire stops we will bring you at this next

01:42when we reach a comfortable 10 000 feet and the bullets cannot uh find us

01:51enjoy a light cabin service

01:55i don't even know like i don't think they're taking off they're not going fast if we're just

02:06we're just we're just sprinting down the runway a little bit we're not taking off we're just

02:11trying to get away a beat we're the bears in the law where nobody chooses their window and seat

02:16listen up everybody we just had a cartel fight to the left of us if you want to take a look at that

02:29uh you can look out the left windows and you will see that there is a cartel fight

02:34just uh remember the windows are not the bulletproof

02:39so be very careful

02:43with anything you want to do

02:47but that's uh we're gonna just a scoot i would say a scoot down the runway a little bit away from

02:55these bullets too that was a close one hey oh whoa okay i'm gonna put this thing down now

03:04and just concentrate on trying to escape

03:06uh also a flight attendants uh prepare for uh prepare for a shooting

03:15you know what we're gonna go ahead and let you smoke

03:19smoke them if you got them as well

03:23there is no more rules once the bullets start to fly

03:28any kind you want to have sex go ahead

03:31i don't even care anymore

03:35luckily it wasn't that big of a gun so we're okay no big whoop

04:07my god that's a big gun

04:11put your tray table up

04:13put your tray tables in their upper locked position

04:17and grab the gun that is underneath your chair

04:20and fire out the window

04:23attack

04:26thank god everyone was fine

04:29yeah yeah it's different huh

04:31it's a lot different

04:32yeah different flight out of there every time i bet

04:35oh yeah

04:36and i'm telling you like the plane was definitely moving

04:40but it was not going fast enough to take off

04:43they must have just been like

04:44they could see the man running through the fields

04:47and it's like well what a crazy time so at first

04:51they got to the airport

04:53they all um were waiting for takeoff

04:56and they at that point thought

04:58that the people were in the airport

05:01they were told there could be some bad guys in the airport

05:06so they all had to hide out in the bathroom for a while

05:09because they thought gang members were in the airport

05:11this is the worst

05:12and then they were about to take off

05:14and that's when they heard the gunfire

05:17so they had all

05:18even before being on that plane

05:20they were scared to death

05:22they've been scared to death for hours

05:24an engine did get hit

05:26triggering a leak

05:28so then they all had to disembark

05:30oh boy

05:31they were moved into a windowless room at the airport

05:35for their own safety

05:36well yeah

05:37yeah

05:38because they at that point didn't know who was shooting at whom

05:40they didn't know what was going on

05:41oh my god

05:42dave do you ever fly into this airport

05:44no thank god

05:45no

05:45it's not that tourist area

05:46there's only two airports you'd fly into I think there

05:49and uh

05:51well it depends on where you're going

05:52in Mexico City

05:53but most of the tourist areas

05:55you go to Cancun

05:56or Puerto Vallarta

05:57or Acapulco

05:57or Cabo San Lucas

05:58but I had

05:59yeah but that's the thing

06:00like I had heard like

06:01you don't fly

06:02a couple of those places

06:03you don't fly to anymore

06:04and

06:04um

06:06I don't know

06:07thank god I didn't take gunfire

06:09on my recent flight

06:10yeah

06:10just there

06:11yeah

06:12yeah

06:12thank god that was not the same

06:13he looks really safe

06:15no problem

06:17I just had some avocado toast

06:18and boarded my flight

06:19it was a totally different experience

06:21different

06:21I wonder if they have to upgrade

06:23I'm really impressed

06:24with this jet blue

06:25I am really impressed

06:27we'd like to apologize for the bullet holes

06:28and the pooping in your pants

06:29so we'd like to offer you a chance
