00:00Trying to help out Alyssa this morning with the 7.15 second date update.
00:03Now, before we get into everything, we actually have Clay on hold.
00:07Kevin tracked him down and kind of told him what was going on.
00:10So we want to bring him back on and see if we can kind of get some information from him.
00:14But we're trying to set them back up.
00:16Clay, you there?
00:17Yeah.
00:18Hey, Clay, I appreciate you coming on, man.
00:19And we want to talk to you about Alyssa.
00:21But Lana, tell them kind of what we know so far.
00:23We know that you guys met online.
00:25You guys went to that place in South Tampa on Swan.
00:28And then after the date, she invited you over.
00:32And it sounded like things were going really well because she said you guys had shared a couple of kisses.
00:37But you wanted to be a gentleman and you ended up leaving.
00:41You guys talked about going on another date.
00:43Obviously, you guys are both into each other.
00:45And now you haven't called her or texted her or anything.
00:49And it's been over a week.
00:50So what's going on?
00:51What happened?
00:53Yeah, yeah.
00:53I already said this to Kevin on the phone here before I got on.
00:56I'm like, I'm not – if you're trying to call to set me back up, Alyssa, I'm not going back out with her.
01:02It's just not going to happen, all right?
01:04Okay.
01:04All right.
01:05But what happened on the date, it sounded like it was going really well if you guys were kissing.
01:09Exactly.
01:10Yeah.
01:10Yo, she is like this crazy shopper or something.
01:15She's got an issue.
01:17She's got a shopping issue.
01:18What do you mean by that?
01:19So I went back into – we went back to her apartment.
01:22And she's got the – I've never seen so many Amazon boxes.
01:27They were just like stacked up all over a living room.
01:31Like a ton.
01:32And I'm talking about like a ridiculous amount.
01:34It looked like an Amazon warehouse in there.
01:36I was like, what are all these?
01:38She's like, oh, I was just doing a little shopping, some stuff I needed.
01:41I'm like, I guess you must have gotten your Christmas shopping done early.
01:45That's what I was just thinking.
01:46Christmas is coming.
01:47Yeah, yeah.
01:48She's like, no, I really haven't even started these.
01:50Just a bunch of things that I needed.
01:52Like half of the boxes aren't even open.
01:55She just like had stuff delivered to her place.
01:57She doesn't even open it.
01:58Would you ask her why?
02:00Yeah, yeah.
02:00I'm like, what's – I'm like, you needed all this stuff?
02:03She's like, yeah, it was prime day.
02:04It was stuff that I needed.
02:06There's a lot of stuff girls need.
02:08If she needed it, these boxes would be opened.
02:10Like she's just storing stuff.
02:12It looks like it's the beginning stages of a hoarder.
02:15She saved the boxes, like the empty boxes.
02:19They were like folded up and stacked in a corner.
02:21Well, Clay, but it's not your money.
02:22Who cares what she buys?
02:24It's not my money yet.
02:25But if I was going to continue a relationship, then, you know,
02:28whose money is that going to be eventually?
02:30I mean, do you collect anything?
02:31Are you a car guy?
02:32I mean, is there stuff that, you know, you do?
02:34I mean –
02:34Maybe you spend money on beer and football.
02:36What?
02:37I mean, I spent some money on like electronics and technology stuff,
02:40but it's – a hobby is a hobby.
02:43Like a hoarding problem is a hoarding problem.
02:46I just – I can't imagine it would be like a live with this girl.
02:48I can't imagine it would be like to get involved with her.
02:50There's just – it's a huge red flag.
02:52Are you exaggerating or was there like a lot?
02:56This is the thing.
02:57I am not exaggerating.
02:59I've been telling everybody I see about this apartment.
03:03Just wrapping and packaging just everywhere.
03:06Unopened boxes.
03:07What's the matter with her?
03:08I mean, it's kind of a silly excuse, but let me see if I can get her on the phone
03:12and get some answers from her real quick here.
03:14Because I don't think she knew that that was offensive to you
03:16or that was alarming to you, obviously.
03:19Alyssa?
03:21Yeah.
03:21Hey, you heard what Clay had to say.
03:23I'm going to let you respond to this.
03:24But, I mean, is that an accurate depiction?
03:26Okay.
03:27First of all, you don't want to go out with me again because I shop too much on Amazon?
03:31That's completely ridiculous.
03:33Like, who says that?
03:35You know what?
03:35I'm just realizing now.
03:37While we were on our date, did you order something off Amazon while we were on the date?
03:42Oh, my God.
03:43Who – like, you've got to be kidding with this.
03:45Like, girls do require a lot of stuff.
03:48And if something is on sale, I'm going to buy it.
03:49And I got a notification while we were on our date about something that I used that's expensive
03:53and it was on sale.
03:54And I got it.
03:55Yes, I got something on our date.
03:57Who cares?
03:58How many times do you buy something on Amazon a day?
04:02Okay.
04:03I'm like – lots of people – whatever.
04:05I don't know.
04:06Like, five to ten things.
04:08It's like –
04:08A day?
04:09Life requires stuff.
04:10A day?
04:10Yes.
04:11A day.
04:11Is that normal?
04:12Lana, does that sound normal?
04:15I don't know if I'm normal, but I maybe buy one or two things a week, maybe.
04:20Yeah.
04:21So what?
04:22Some of the boxes aren't open.
04:23I'm busy.
04:24I have a job.
04:24I have a life.
04:25Like, okay, there's a few boxes stacked up.
04:27Who cares?
04:29How many boxes would you just say she had?
04:31Goodness gracious.
04:32I mean, like, if you had to guess.
04:34I don't think it's the – I mean, go ahead.
04:35I know, but Alyssa, what do you think you have in your apartment?
04:39Like, I don't know, like, 50 or 60.
04:42Like, it's not, like, that many.
04:44That's a lot of boxes, girl.
04:45A lot of boxes.
04:45What if she's buying little things?
04:47It might just be those packages.
04:48It doesn't matter if it's a lot of boxes.
04:50You should talk to Jeff Bezos.
04:52I don't know.
04:53Like, it's like when you order one thing, sometimes you put it in a big box.
04:56Wait, but listen.
04:57And obviously things went well enough for you guys to be kissing, holding hands, Clay.
05:01Like, are you really going to let this get in the way of you seeing her again?
05:03I mean, I feel like there's a lot that went right on this date that we're talking about
05:07and external thing that's going on here.
05:10This is a lifestyle for her, clearly.
05:12And what, it's going to get better?
05:16No, it's going to get worse over years.
05:18You're going to keep needing to fill something.
05:21I don't know what you're missing in your life, Alyssa, but you're trying to fill it with something.
05:26All right.
05:27Well, Alyssa, now you know why Clay wasn't getting back to you.
05:30This is his strong feeling about your purchasing, and that's your prerogative to do whatever
05:34you want, as long as you can afford it, obviously.
05:36I'm sorry that we can't make another date happen, but that's what's going on.
05:39Clay, I appreciate you coming on with us today, and I wish you guys both luck in your dating
05:43lives.
05:44No problem, guys.
05:46Thanks, guys.
05:47That's lame.
05:48I mean, come on.
05:48You like a girl enough to kiss her and have a good time with her, but because she buys
05:54too much on Amazon, really?
05:56You saw 60 boxes at your girlfriend's house, and she's like, oh, it's just stuff I bought
06:02off Amazon.
06:03You wouldn't be like, what?
06:05Was it my credit card?
06:06No?
06:06Do your thing.
06:07She said she buys five to ten things a day.
06:10I would be cutting it off.
06:12But I don't think that has anything to do with her dating life.
06:14I don't know.
06:14What do you think?
06:15This is a deal breaker?
06:15Would this be a deal breaker, 800-992-1099, 800-992-1099.
