00:00Let's play Plead the Fifth with Orlando and the Freak Show on Wild 94.1.
00:14All right, Meredith, a.k.a. Auto-Tune, is ready.
00:20She is sworn in, and she raged it out this weekend.
00:25Must have.
00:25Yeah, so she had a big party going on here.
00:28So I think it was the sixth birthday for the sixth birthday, birthday girl.
00:33Yes, this girl's had too much fun, I would say, lately with the Disney Cruise and then Discovery Cove,
00:39and now she had her birthday party with her friends.
00:41Yeah, so she's been turned up.
00:42I don't know how y'all are going to live past this for next year.
00:46I don't know.
00:47When seven hits, well, it's going to be a time.
00:50Exactly.
00:50All right, so we got three questions that come from the room.
00:53We have three questions that come from the audience, and we also have a boomerang that you can shoot back.
00:59Anything that you've answered, feel free to let us have a shot at it.
01:04So I am first.
01:05Okay.
01:07Meredith.
01:08Yes, sir.
01:08I want to ask you, in your career, you've spent nine, ten years here.
01:15Yeah.
01:15And before here, you were on the MJ show over at 93.
01:20So you've had a long career here.
01:23I want to know, any time in your career that you thought, unequivocally, I'm about to be fired?
01:34Has that ever happened to you?
01:35Maybe it hasn't.
01:38Multiple times.
01:39Multiple.
01:40Multiple times.
01:42Keep it low.
01:43I'm trying.
01:43Okay.
01:45Okay, there you go.
01:46Deep voice.
01:47Deep voice.
01:47Um, so, working, especially on the MJ Morning Show, I definitely thought I was going to get fired maybe ten times, for sure.
01:57Ten?
01:59Absolutely.
01:59Yes, definitely.
02:01Um, pulling the wrong audio, because I was new in town, I didn't know the job.
02:07Um, getting yelled at sometimes off air about certain things.
02:12Um, I definitely thought I was going to get fired after I was caught smoking something green.
02:20Um.
02:21Oh, my God.
02:21At work?
02:22Sorry.
02:22Was not at work.
02:24Just in life?
02:25Oh, just in life?
02:27Donnie's like, you can do that?
02:29It was, it was at a work event.
02:32Oh, oh, yeah, yeah.
02:33You can get fired for that.
02:34Yeah, you can't do that in murder.
02:35Yeah, that's in the rule books, I think.
02:37There were kids walking by, and then they snitched and told their parents, and the parents got upset, and then they called the cops, and then the cops started, like, getting really in my face, and then they kicked me out, basically.
02:49And then.
02:50Oh, yeah, you were supposed to get fired.
02:50Everybody found out, yeah.
02:52Yeah.
02:52So, I got written up.
02:54Um, so, yeah, definitely, 100%.
02:56Okay.
02:57All right.
02:57Yeah.
02:58Wow.
02:58Yeah, you're a rebel.
02:59Yeah.
03:00I don't know about that.
03:01All right, Meredith, I'm going to keep it simple with you.
03:04It's a question that I think we've all kind of wondered at one point or another.
03:08What is your body count?
03:11What's my body count?
03:12The streets want to know.
03:13Yep.
03:14Oh.
03:14Yeah, let's plead the fifth.
03:20Boy, am I going to come for you.
03:24You better watch out.
03:25Um, I mean.
03:28You can tap out.
03:29That's what it's there for.
03:30Okay, I'm going to tap out on that.
03:32You're tapping out on that, really?
03:33Oh, the body count.
03:34Oh, the body count.
03:35I have to.
03:35I have to.
03:36Okay.
03:36Davi.
03:37Wow.
03:38All right.
03:39Going once, going twice.
03:40You sure?
03:41Okay, all right.
03:41Yes, yes.
03:48Wow.
03:49We didn't want that math out there, huh?
03:51Okay.
03:52Not a terrible use of the plea, I would say.
03:54I would say, you know, happy, happy house.
03:56Yeah, out of respect for my family, I'm thinking maybe that's not the best one to answer.
04:00All right, we go.
04:01There you go.
04:01I don't want to come home and Anthony's like, excuse me.
04:03Yeah.
04:04In respect for my family, I'm glad you tapped out so that didn't get Boomerang back.
04:08Yeah.
04:08Oh, she can't say that one back.
04:10Very true.
04:11All right.
04:12Buck, you're next up.
04:13So, Meredith, since your voice sounds like the poltergeist or a witch or something, I'm
04:19going to ask you a Halloween-ish question.
04:21Ooh, okay.
04:23You know, I was watching scary movies with my son last night and he asked me if ghosts
04:28were real.
04:28So, I want to know, have you ever seen a ghost?
04:31Okay, so I've definitely had some encounters, weird ones.
04:38I lived in St. Augustine for a while and that city is very haunted.
04:42It's one of the oldest cities in our nation.
04:45The graveyard's there.
04:47They do ghost tours and stuff, but really, it was in my house when my family wasn't there.
04:53Just like weird lights turning on and weird noises and stuff like that.
04:57And at that time, that was a new build.
05:00And just being scared, I think I was a teenager at the time, too.
05:04So, I was kind of, I don't know, in the household by myself and alone and maybe I was coming up
05:09with stuff, but it's known, like even going to school there, it's very haunted.
05:14That ghosts creep around and there's like the oldest jail in the nation there and that's
05:19super-duper haunted.
05:20So, I would absolutely say yes, I've had some kind of weird things that have definitely
05:24happened to me in St. Augustine for sure, 100%.
05:26And you, yes, you still believe in ghosts?
05:29You think they're real?
05:30Sure.
05:30Yeah, why not?
05:31Wait, where did that come from?
05:33Of course they're real.
05:33I just wanted to verify.
05:34You think they just made it up?
05:37Why can't ghosts exist?
05:38A lot of people don't believe in ghosts.
05:40I'm not really buying it.
05:42See?
05:42You don't buy ghosts?
05:43No, not really.
05:45Okay.
05:45He doesn't like, what about aliens?
05:47Spirits?
05:47Like spirits and stuff like that?
05:49That's what a, don't get me into this.
05:52Because I'm telling you, there's some ghosts out here.
05:55Boogity, boogity, boogity, everything's out here.
05:58All right, that's three questions in.
06:00She doesn't have a pass, and now it's three questions on y'all.
06:04888-429-0941.
06:06You got those coming up and a boomerang.
06:08Don't move.
06:09All right, so we got plead the fifth action, Meredith's edition, and she answered the question
06:13on if she had ever thought she was going to be fired like 10 times.
06:18Apparently, the devil's lettuce got to her, and Davi wanted to know that body count.
06:25She tapped out.
06:26I did.
06:26She's like, I'm not going home.
06:28Happy spouse, happy house.
06:29So she's not going to take that back into the house.
06:32And we found out about ghosts.
06:34Apparently, she lived in the most haunted place on the universe.
06:38What was it?
06:39St. Augustine?
06:40St. Augustine.
06:40St. Augustine.
06:41Bad spot.
06:43She dealt with some ghosts.
06:44Davi doesn't believe it.
06:45He thinks it's cap.
06:46All right, she now has three questions that are coming in from the audience.
06:51Let's see what we got here on the Meredith Files.
06:53We have a text out to 727 that says, Meredith, do you have any fetishes that no one knows
06:59about just your husband?
07:01Ooh.
07:03Fetishes.
07:03Do tell.
07:07Let me see here.
07:08I mean, if I could involve a little bit of food in the bedroom.
07:14Food fetish.
07:15Food?
07:16Every now and then.
07:17What kind of food?
07:18Like, um.
07:19Doritos?
07:20No.
07:21Not a Reuben sandwich.
07:22Would you say Doritos?
07:24Doritos.
07:25He thinks I'm like, not a Reuben or anything like that.
07:29Like a chocolate syrup or maybe some whipped cream or like ice.
07:35I like using ice, definitely.
07:37Okay.
07:38Okay.
07:39Ice on you or ice on them?
07:40Whoever.
07:41Ice.
07:41Whatever.
07:41If you get to choose, though, would you rather be the giver or the receiver?
07:45I want both.
07:46Okay.
07:47Both.
07:47Definitely.
07:48Just because it just brings a different kind of feeling, I guess.
07:51Wow.
07:52All right.
07:52You have a question.
07:53Since you tapped out on the body count, they're going to respect that.
07:57And they said, so Meredith, tell us Anthony's body count.
08:03Okay.
08:04I can do this.
08:05I have no idea.
08:06He's never once admitted to me ever his body count.
08:10I have asked a million times.
08:12I have asked a million different ways if he was intoxicated or not over the years.
08:18And he just, he says he doesn't know.
08:21And that's where it is.
08:23Wow.
08:23That's smart.
08:24Such a lie, too.
08:25That's a wise man right there.
08:26All right.
08:27Let's see here.
08:27We got a call.
08:28Who's on the line?
08:29I believe it's Jeremy is on the line.
08:31Jeremy, you got a question for Meredith.
08:33She has no pass.
08:35Yeah.
08:36I got one, man.
08:37I got one.
08:38You better be nice.
08:39Be nice.
08:40Oh, no.
08:41I'm not being nice.
08:42He's one.
08:45You know I'm coming for you, Meredith.
08:46I'm sorry.
08:47But we want to know which one of Anthony's brothers would be the best.
08:50Oh, yeah.
08:51Oh, yeah.
08:53Jeremy.
08:54Jeremy.
08:54Wow.
08:54Now, how many brothers does he have?
08:56Oh, my God.
08:57He has two brothers.
08:58He has two brothers.
08:59All right.
08:59So there's options.
09:01There's options.
09:03Okay.
09:04I mean, are they taller than him?
09:05Yes.
09:06Are they younger?
09:07Give us a description.
09:08They're both younger and they're both taller.
09:11Okay.
09:12All right.
09:12Are they cute?
09:13Yeah.
09:13They're both really cute.
09:14Yeah.
09:14They're young.
09:15Yeah, definitely.
09:17Okay.
09:17So if you had to pick one.
09:19Oh, God.
09:20This is not good.
09:22Go, Jeremy.
09:23This is not a good question.
09:26And they probably are going to hear about this, too.
09:29Oh, yeah.
09:30Yeah.
09:31Jeremy might tell him himself.
09:33Yeah.
09:35Meredith.
09:35So if you had to choose.
09:37What are their names?
09:39What are their names?
09:40Really?
09:40Yeah.
09:40I mean, just so we can make sure and tell them apart.
09:44Okay.
09:44So there's Jordan.
09:45Jordan.
09:46Okay.
09:46Jordan.
09:47Jordan is going to be 30 soon.
09:49Okay.
09:49He has tattoos.
09:51He has tattoos.
09:52Yes.
09:52He owns his own vintage T-shirt shop in downtown St. Pete.
09:57Business guy.
09:57Okay.
09:58All right.
09:58Okay.
09:59And then the other?
10:01Grant.
10:02Grant.
10:02Grant.
10:02Yes, Grant.
10:03He's about to be 27, I believe.
10:06Okay.
10:06Grant's a little younger.
10:07He also owns his own company.
10:10Oh, so both of them are kind of out.
10:11Yeah.
10:11Okay.
10:11So these are good choices, man.
10:13He's more of a handyman.
10:14So he fixes a lot of stuff for apartment complexes and houses and stuff like that.
10:18Okay.
10:19So out of the handyman businessman who's younger, which is Grant or Jordan, who's a little taller
10:27and a little bit more experienced.
10:29This is not good.
10:29Who would you choose to tat out behind Anthony's back if you had to choose one?
10:36That's terrible.
10:37Flip a coin.
10:38Okay.
10:38Here we go.
10:40I guess I'm going to pick Jordan.
10:45Jordan.
10:45I knew it.
10:45I knew it.
10:46I knew it.
10:47We knew it.
10:47I knew it.
10:48It's the tattoos.
10:48I knew it.
10:49It's the tats.
10:50It's the ink.
10:50And the t-shirts.
10:51Is there a reason why Jordan got the nappy dugout?
10:57Really?
10:58Orlando?
10:58I'm just saying it.
11:00I think it's more, they both have very similar personalities and all that.
11:04I think Jordan's a little bit more carefree and yes, it's the tattoos and-
11:08The bad boy thing.
11:09Yeah, I like that.
11:10Okay.
11:10That's good.
11:11All right.
11:11Very good, Jeremy.
11:13We appreciate that right there.
11:14I appreciate y'all, man.
11:16I hate you.
11:16I hate you.
11:17Y'all hate my morning, man.
11:18I appreciate you, fam.
11:20All right.
11:20You answered all of them.
11:22You got a boomerang you can use.
11:24Okay.
11:25So, I know Davi says he doesn't believe in ghosts, but have you guys ever had any experiences
11:30with any kind of hauntings or anything weird going on in your house or anything like that?
11:35I have not.
11:36I'll get mine out of the way.
11:37No.
11:37I haven't had any ghost sightings, experiences, haven't felt anything, seen anything.
11:42Nobody's moved, touched, turned on, turned off.
11:45Never happened.
11:48I have, but it was like as a kid.
11:51There was something in the house and I got scared and I ran across the street.
11:55What was it?
11:56It was a ghost.
11:57It was a real ghost?
11:58What do you mean?
11:59Like you believe it to this day?
12:00What happened?
12:01Today, I believe it was a ghost.
12:02My parents were gone.
12:04My sisters and my brother are older, so I was the only kid at home.
12:07And I'm doing my homework and I heard like, you know, something, a noise and nobody was
12:13in the house.
12:13And so, I looked and I saw like something, it was an image floating across from my kitchen
12:20past the dining room and like it was going into the basement.
12:24Right there, I was just like, okay, that's weird.
12:27And I kept staring at it to see if I'd see it again.
12:30And I saw this, it was almost like you pixelate an image.
12:34It was like a pixelated thing going across the wall and it was a white wall.
12:38So, I'm like, yo, what is that?
12:39So, I grabbed my coat.
12:41I mean, I had like a, I had my Catholic school uniform on, so I had my dark pants, whatever.
12:45Grabbed a coat on the outside of that and ran over to my neighbor's house and they were
12:48headed to like go to church or something.
12:51And so, I ended up going to church with them.
12:54No cell phones, no nothing.
12:55Then, I came home and my parents had been looking for me.
12:58They couldn't find me.
12:59Police was involved.
13:00Oh, man.
13:01Because I wasn't home and they were like, yo, he locked up the house, but what happened?
13:04Where did he go?
13:05And so, yeah.
13:06Oh, my gosh.
13:06So, I told them it was a ghost.
13:08My mama was like, next time you fight that ghost, you don't leave this damn house no more.
13:12That was the only safe spot for you to go, to church?
13:15I mean, well, I know.
13:16I just, I mean, when I came over there and told them about it, they were headed to church.
13:19I was like, I kind of wanted them to let me stay.
13:21Yeah.
13:21But I ended up having, and I looked all horrible.
13:23I mean, I was in there with like boots on and some uniform pants, a t-shirt.
13:27It wasn't church tire.
13:29So, yeah, my mom was not happy that I left.
13:31Just looking bad.
13:32But I swear it was a ghost.
13:34Right.
13:34Because what else is it going to be?
13:36I'm at home by myself.
13:37There's no reason for any kind of lights to be going on through the house making some sort of movement and noises.
13:42You as a little kid with a vivid imagination, you just seeing things, and the ghost never came back.
13:48Come on.
13:49How dare you make his feelings.
13:50I mean, whatever.
13:51That thing was real to me.
13:52You just haven't had your eyes open enough to know when they're around you yet.
13:56Exactly.
13:56That's what I'm saying.
13:57He was all with the devil's lettuce.
13:59That's what it was.
13:59I was painfully soaked.
14:01Yeah, yeah.
14:01All right.
14:02What's your, I know you done had something out in the woods.
14:04Of course.
14:04Of course.
14:05I've had multiple ghost encounters.
14:06But I'm going to tell you the one that scared me the most.
14:09I was a kid.
14:09I had my friends, three or four of them over, were on sleeping bags in the living room playing Nintendo all night, right?
14:16At some point, we all fall asleep.
14:18TV's off.
14:19We're all next to each other on the living room floor.
14:22In the corner of the living room, there's a desk with a big black leather office chair over there, right?
14:28So we're laying there.
14:30You know, we're all asleep.
14:31Some reason I wake up in the middle of the night, and I open my eyes, and I kind of catch movement in the side of my eye,
14:38and I look over, and this big black leather chair turns.
14:41The back of it is facing us.
14:43No.
14:43It turns slowly and faces us.
14:46Hell no.
14:47What's in the chair?
14:48Bottom and out.
14:48Nothing.
14:49Oh, my God.
14:50I'm covered in, what is it, sleep paralysis, where I'm frozen.
14:54I can't move.
14:55I go to scream.
14:57Nothing comes out.
14:58Sounded like Meredith.
14:59Yeah.
15:00Frozen like a block of ice.
15:02Terrified.
15:02I'll never forget it.
15:03Wait.
15:04The chair moved by itself, and you couldn't move.
15:06The chair turned around.
15:08That's ghost right there.
15:09It couldn't have been any of the other little kids in the sleepover messing with you.
15:12Nope.
15:12I was the only one awake, and they were all next to me.
15:13That's the only answer you come up with?
15:15Yeah.
15:15The chair moved because a kid moved it?
15:17You don't think that's the more plausible answer?
15:20No.
15:20A ghost is more plausible than one of his friends?
15:23What makes his sleep paralysis happen?
15:24Nobody was up.
15:25Nobody was up.
15:26Because he was being...
15:26I don't know.
15:27I don't know what made his sleep paralysis.
15:29That's a whole...
15:30They say that ghosts do that.
15:31Buck was being...
15:32He was being soft.
15:32They say that ghosts do that when they're like, so you can't move, and so you can't...
15:36They get on your chest.
15:37Yes.
15:40Y'all sound real spooky right now.
15:43You know what?
15:43It's supposed to sound spooky.
15:45It's about...
15:45Shut up, Dobby.
15:47You know?
15:47All right, Meredith, you officially got through yours.
15:50You are ready to rap.
15:53Auto-tune.
15:53It's done.
15:56She's still mad that she got a relationship going on with Jordan.
15:59Oh, my God.
