00:00Well, we got a lot of parents calling in this morning about our 715 second date update between Andrea and Marcus

00:05I mean, they went to glory days to watch the Bucks game. What could go wrong?

00:08Well, apparently Andrea had a lot of things to say to one of the other customers at the restaurant

00:14I don't blame them for not wanting to go out with her again. What do you think?

00:18Well, Andrea very confident about her date with Marcus. It is something cool

00:23It did something relaxing. They went and watched some some football games relaxing. Well, what do you mean?

00:27Sometimes it gets a little stressful. Yeah, but I mean, I guess I should say not maybe not relaxing

00:32But maybe something a little more laid-back, you know versus more of a formal dinner

00:37So they went to glory days watch some games hung out and since then she has not heard from him

00:42We're trying to figure out what happened. Lana. You asked some great questions. Did you get a little too excited?

00:47Yeah, your phone too much what was happening?

00:49So we actually have Marcus on the phone. We're gonna see if we get some answers from him

00:52He has agreed to come on with us. Let's bring him on. Hey Marcus. You there?

00:56Yeah, how's it going? Hey good, man. We appreciate you coming on with us today

01:01We want to ask you about this woman Andrea that you went on a date with

01:05We just heard that you guys are the glory days watch some football games

01:08Got to get to know each other a little bit, you know had some drinks hung out and seemed like a very laid-back date

01:14But I guess since that date you have disappeared man. This is what we kind of do

01:19We try to get some answers from the person that disappeared. That would be you. Why are you not getting back to this girl?

01:23The first hour and a half was was great. We were having a great time all the things you just listed

01:31We were watching football really can't ask for more, right? And then it just went crazy

01:37What? What do you mean went crazy?

01:40Um, you know, we're at a restaurant, right? People bring their their kids and their family and and

01:46I just didn't know how to respond to this. But there was a kid behind us like at the booth behind us

01:50You know carrying on kicking screaming

01:53Bump of the booth a little bit, which is annoying. I'll give you that

01:57But Andrea

01:58Stood up and just started to berate the parents and the kid

02:04Uh-uh

02:05Just like get your kid under control. What the hell's the matter with you?

02:10I I mean, it was loud and chaotic and I you know

02:14Kind of feels like it unreal, but yeah screaming at these parents even screaming at the kid

02:20What'd you do?

02:22I tried to intervene, you know calm things down

02:25Uh, hey, let's you know

02:27It's not that big of a deal like we can move

02:30We can, you know, there's nobody's a scream at a child or the parents i'm sure the parents aren't like hey

02:35I love that my kids, you know being loud, but so it's quite this scene

02:40Causing a scene it was embarrassing and you know for someone to flip go from zero to 60 that quick on a kid

02:48I don't know if she kind of showed her true colors and uh

02:51Did you guys leave after that and those people leave or did you guys all just still sit there?

02:56Uh, they left they got up and left

02:58Um, she not tell us that she told us that the date was fine. You guys had a lot of fun

03:03Maybe it's just recalling the first hour and a half which was fun

03:08Okay, right or wrong. That is a very awkward situation to be and I totally get it marcus

03:14We actually have andrea on hold with us. I gotta bring her back on here. Uh, andrea

03:18Awkward would be putting it mildly. I wish it was just awkward

03:22Okay, wow

03:24Well, we actually have andrea on the phone. I want to bring her back on

03:27Um, just kind of get her take on this andrea

03:30You forgot to tell us one part. Yeah, I mean that's kind of a big deal. I mean, interesting interaction

03:36First of all, he's very much exaggerating it. Here's the thing. Uh, we were we are paying customers in a bar trying to watch a game

03:45And I understand kids can get loud and whatever

03:48But he is kicking my seat screaming and getting really rowdy and it's frustrating when i'm there to have a good time

03:55And the parents obviously are not doing anything to control the situation. They're not taking the kid outside

04:01They're not trying to calm them down. They're just letting this kid run completely wild and i'm trying to enjoy this date

04:07So to me, it's completely inappropriate and I don't think I ever reacted

04:10I think I am a paying customer and I deserve to enjoy this time and not be disruptive when i'm

04:15What about everyone else in the room? You were being disruptive

04:20No, I was not being the kid was being disruptive. I'm sure everyone else in the room agree with me

04:25It was disruptive to us. You screaming at the kid and the parents is disruptive to the whole

04:31I was not screaming. I was heated and I was exasperated. I was not screaming. You're

04:35That is a fancy way to say screaming. Heated and exasperated

04:40I can't even say the word like that. You can't even say the word exasperated

04:46Exasperated fine, whatever

04:49You were exasperated screaming at a child

04:52I was talking to the parents and trying to get the parents to control their child which clearly

04:58That's how they never discipline their child at all

05:02I mean, I don't like to be annoyed by having my seat kicked either. I totally get that but

05:05Kind of the handling of the situation that seemed like it was a little aggressive. Yeah, no?

05:09Look, this is the problem with parents these days

05:12They don't know how to discipline their kids. They don't know how to control them

05:14And that is why the situation didn't even happen

05:17It couldn't even happen if parents knew how to control their children

05:19You don't have kids. It is totally not your place to do that

05:24I would never let my kids act like that

05:26Well, it's obvious that you have very different views about this particular situation

05:31But you did say that the first hour and a half was good. You guys agreed on that

05:35I'll just ask would you be willing to hit the reset button on this and maybe go out again?

05:39I don't know

05:40No

05:41If she's willing to react that way to another person's child and defend it this hard

05:47I'm not interested in that or whatever militaristic way she's talking about raising kids

05:55Andrea, I guess he's not looking for another date because of the situation

06:00I'm sorry, but we at least got you some answers

06:07Listen, that is annoying when kids are

06:11I mean, I've been in waiting rooms at doctor's offices where kids are going crazy

06:14And a mom's just reading a magazine or a dad's just reading a magazine

06:16And it's kind of like, what is going on?

06:18I know, but I never want to stand up and say something though

06:22It's like

06:22There's different ways to handle that

06:23I mean, you can say something without berating somebody

06:26Oh, that's, I don't know

06:27That's a line you don't really

06:28You can't tell somebody how to parent their kid

06:30I don't know

06:31What do you do?

06:33I want to know if this would have been a deal breaker for you

06:35But do you think Andrea was in the right to say something?

06:38Or do you think she overreacted

06:40And Marcus is totally right for not wanting to go back out with her again
