00:04Doing good, man. Doing really well. Yeah, we can't complain. Just put out a new song yesterday, so life is good.
00:09You guys been floating around, been staying in the area here lately?
00:12We actually just got back from Australia. Did a two-week run there about two weeks ago.
00:16Yep, yep. Not long. You guys seem to play there a lot.
00:18Yeah, that was our third time. It's been a while. We went over there for a festival right before COVID really took over.
00:25And then we've just been dying, itching, waiting to go back there, and finally we were able to go back.
00:30Like I said, was it three weeks ago? Yeah, it's certainly a long trek because you've got to fly from Detroit to L.A.,
00:36then L.A. to Sydney, and then we did Sydney to Perth, which is an extra five hours.
00:40So once you get past all the flights and finally get there, the shows were incredible.
00:44So many people, too, just said it was like their first show back.
00:47So I can't wait to see kind of what it's like in America when we start touring heavy here
00:51because I know so many people have just been waiting to finally get back to a rock show or a metal show.
00:57And, of course, when you go down to Australia, you're watching Lost, right?
01:00Is that the show on the flight? Is that...
01:02I don't know. I don't know. I'm going to be a bad omen to watch that.
01:04That's huge for you to watch that show.
01:05So, yeah, talking about shows, you guys are playing our Thanksgiving Throwdown, which is going to be a lot of fun.
01:09That's going to be awesome. So looking forward to that.
01:12And, you know, the first time I ever met Eric a few years ago,
01:15somebody had told me about these shoe-y things that they do down in Australia
01:17where people throw shoes on the stage if they like you,
01:21and then you're supposed to put beer in them and drink it.
01:23But you actually, instead of just putting the beer in there,
01:25you poured the beer in there and drank it out of these shoes.
01:28Yeah. So first show years ago, in the middle of the set, I got hit in the head with a shoe.
01:34And I'm going off like, who the hell threw that? Who threw that? Fess up!
01:38And someone in our monitors chirped up, and they're like, no, no, that's a good thing.
01:44It's like they want you to drink a beer out of it.
01:46I'm like, what sick weirdo? Okay, sure, all right.
01:50So I grabbed a beer, and I looked around.
01:53I'm like, okay, poured the beer in the shoe.
01:55Everyone went wild, took the drink.
01:57And at the end of the tour, I did that for every show.
01:59And at the end of the tour, six, seven shows later, the guy's like,
02:01hey, mate, just to let you know, you only had to put the beer bottle in the shoe.
