00:03Authorities in Greeley have launched an investigation into the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old boy,
00:09identified as Alonzo, that occurred early Monday evening.
00:14According to the Greeley Police Department,
00:16officers responded to a report of a shooting at the Sunlight Townhomes,
00:21located in the 500 block of 16th Street, shortly after the incident was reported.
00:27Upon arrival, officers discovered the teenage victim unresponsive and suffering from gunshot injuries.
00:37Emergency medical personnel rendered aid, but the boy was later pronounced deceased.
00:43As a result of the ongoing investigation, a juvenile suspect was identified,
00:49arrested, and booked on charges related to the shooting.
