00:36the casey smith portion is is the catalyst kind of the domino that got pushed over that changed
00:42everything is what this feels like um but the the casey smith issue like we read last hour where he
00:49was essentially fired over zoom by nico harrison while his mom was dying is that's a brutal look
00:55that's the most damning thing that's in here but after that yeah this this issue of billsboro and
00:59belton who were brought in to kind of replace casey smith replace some of the training staff
01:04and their tension with each other and then specifically billsboro's tension with luka
01:09donchich's body team is what really caused a lot of these issues a friend of lucas grumbled you don't
01:16perform like he does if you're a fat drunk pig referring to the way that they have painted uh
01:24lucas conduct conditioning why did dirk leave well it sounds like he was not happy with the
01:29dismissals of casey smith uh and then scott tomblin who was working with the mavs as well he leaves
01:37and becomes a part of dirk's foundation so dirk is the one it sounded like it was like okay i'm
01:43stepping away from this because of the moves that you're making towards people i love and respect yeah
01:47and it it 100 the mavs did not tell him you don't have a place here anymore um it doesn't sound like
01:53and and by the way there's very little in here about mark cuban's departure it's kind of i mean
01:57it's referenced and said that nico harrison won out and successfully cut him out of basketball ops
02:02but and mark cuban's tried to serve as the middle man between nico and luca when nico was not happy
02:10about luca's conditioning yeah like he wanted to he wanted to essentially be the mediator with nico
02:15luca and then billsboro and and make sure that everybody got on the same and he was his basically
02:20his services were declined
