I'm sorry if this project is incomplete and not up to par. My heart feels a little heavy today. My furbaby of thirteen years went missing three months ago, and yesterday we found her. Now I have part of her with me eternally, just not in the form I can cuddle. I love you, sweet girl. My beautiful Callie. The precious gift that allowed me to heal some of my wounds, and I can only hope you can see how deeply loved you are. I named her from Callie from "The Fosters", her story resonated with me, and it gave me a reason...a purpose to improve and flourish in the face of similar demons.
I started working on this in the afternoon, and haven't done anything else else, including eat. I just couldn't face the day, anything or anybody. I needed to edit one of my favourite age-gap pairings, who bring me such comfort, something I need and welcome right now. I'm grateful for my oddities and complexities, they often serve me when all things normative fail. I hope each of you find something that that can be your saving grace. We all deserve a break from our ills.
I haven't used this platform as my personal scrapbook in a long time.
I'm sorry for posting this here. I'll try to be brighter treading forward.
