00:00As we sit, right, in the music industry, this is your industry, in 2025, right, if you had to
00:04describe in one word what the industry is in 2025, it's midway point of this decade,
00:10because Empire sits in a very interesting place, you know, again, independent distributor and record
00:14label, what word would that be to describe the music industry? I would probably say
00:20disruptive. Disruptive, why disruptive? Because I feel Empire, we are disruptive, we've disrupted
00:28the industry a little bit to where, you know, the deals are different, they're leaning toward the
00:33artist and being artist friendly. I would say because there are so many different genres that
00:39are fusing into genres that usually like to be very pure, like a shibuzi in country, same thing when
00:45it came to when Nas X did it or, you know, others. But I feel like there's a time now where there are
00:53no lines, whether it's EDM and dance, whether it's rock music or country music or even hip-hop for that
01:00matter, there are really no set purist lines at this point.
