“Happening for first time in Ranchi…” Flight Lt Kanwal Sandhu on tomorrow’s air show

Ranchi (Jharkhand), April 18, 2025 (ANI): As Indian Air Force to organize Air Show, Flight Lieutenant in Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team (SKAT), Kanwal Sandhu on April 18 said that this is the happening for the first time in Ranchi. “Tomorrow's air show will be conducted by the India Air Force's SKAT. Through this air show, you will see the passion, discipline and enthusiasm of the Indian Air Force. Tomorrow you will see nine fighter jets flying at a very short height. This is happening for the first time in Ranchi. You will see the pilots of the Indian Air Force waving the tricolour in the sky with great pride. We will meet you all tomorrow at the Namkum Army Ground at 9:30 AM,” said Kanwal Sandhu. “We are the only nine-aircraft aerobatic team in Asia. On 19 and 20 April, we will be flying (doing an air show) from the Namkum Army Ground at 9:45 AM... We will be flying as low as 100ft... This event is divided into two parts- the composite part, in which all nine aircraft will fly together, and the second is the synchro phase, in which we will separate into two to three elements and do manoeuvres closer to the ground,” said Gaurav Patel
