00:00Man, you know how people say, I don't know what kids are eating these days.
00:03I don't know what bees are eating these days.
00:05I went outside, yesterday I saw a wasp.
00:07Yeah.
00:07I almost like, you know those websites.
00:09Well, a wasp isn't a bee.
00:10You do know that, right?
00:10Well, I know, but they fly and they can cause problems.
00:12I always put them in the same category.
00:14They make my kids scream, so it's just kind of like whatever.
00:16But I almost got on, you know those websites, if you see like a missing dog or cat, you
00:20can go to the website and be like, hey, I just saw a missing dog or cat.
00:22Yeah.
00:22I almost reported this wasp missing, like it was somebody's pet.
00:25The thing was probably six inches wide.
00:28And, you know, they have those things that hang down.
00:30It was a nasty looking wasp.
00:32Oh, this thing had a name.
00:33Six inches long.
00:34That was like a bat.
00:36This thing needed a rabies shot.
00:38Honestly, if he didn't have one, he needed one.
00:40But then I was reading about these yellow jacket nests.
00:42This is in Alabama.
00:44And the nests are the size of cars.
00:47Cars.
00:48Yeah, they're huge.
00:49Like a smart car or a regular car.
00:52Cars.
00:52Things you can drive that would need license plates.
00:55It's crazy.
00:55Oh my gosh.
00:56And I saw my neighbors outside the other day.
00:58I heard him.
00:59I mean, he's a guy and he's out there and he's screaming because he was like spraying and
01:02then he was running.
01:03And I walked outside and look and he had two cans of the spray and he had one of those masks
01:06on his face.
01:07And I was like, man, I'm not, I'm just going to pretend like I didn't see it and go back
01:09inside because what if he needed help?
01:11You know, I wasn't prepared.
01:12You didn't want to help him.
01:14So Kevin, you said you're in a battle with bees right now.
01:16I actually got some yellow jackets out in the house in the backyard.
01:19Did you already get them?
01:21Yeah.
01:22Got them.
01:22They're huge.
01:23They're, you know, you know, when they're different cause they're yellow.
01:26Yeah.
01:27They, um, big boys.
01:28Yeah.
01:28They're called the Volkswagen Beatles.
01:30This is the new breed of these guys.
01:32And yeah, I mean, it's been reading about it.
01:34It's really crazy, but some of the nests, some of the nests now can have 15,000 or more.
01:41And like I said, they grow in the nest so that can be the size of cars.
01:44Sounds like the case of a wife saying to her husband, Hey babe, that nest outside is getting
01:50kind of big and he's like, Oh yeah, I'll take care of it next weekend.
01:52And then a year later, now it's the size of a car.
01:55Then you have a car outside.
01:56Then you have a car.
01:57Yeah.
01:57So, uh, I don't know if any of y'all seen any of these, but they're saying if you have
02:00a yellow jacket nest, you got to take care of this thing quick.
02:03But then I've also read that like bees are extinct on the way.
02:05You're not supposed to kill them.
02:06Oh my gosh.
02:07Yes.
02:07And I accidentally did yesterday in the pool.
02:09I didn't know.
02:10I didn't know what was on my back though.
02:11Murder.
02:12I know.
02:12I felt so bad.
02:13Murder.
02:14And then he was like flailing in the water and I was like, Oh, I just killed a bee.
02:18I didn't know what was on my back.
02:19I try not to either.
02:20As long as it's not going to hurt me.
02:21Um, two of my kids, Austin and Trey, every morning they go out with the, with the pool
02:25net and they, they have a thing, they have a fake company.
02:28They called it called the rescue bee company and they rescue the bees that are in the pool
02:31that'll like land on a leaf and they'll rescue them.
02:34And they're not scared of them at all.
02:35Oh, that's so sweet.
02:37Wait till I tell them about this story though.
02:39Change all that.
02:39Don't tell them I killed one.
02:40The all new exterminator company coming to town.
