GE2025: Progress Singapore Party to return to contest in Marymount SMC

Speaking to the media during a walkabout in Bishan North Shopping Mall, Progress Singapore Party (PSP) chief Leong Mun Wai said that he “looks forward to a breakthrough (in Marymount SMC) this round.”

00:00Today we are here to to declare that we are contesting in Marymount. We thank the

00:10Marymount residents for giving us strong support in the last general election 2020.

00:17We look forward to them sending our candidate into Parliament this round.

00:23Jeffrey is one of our new faces but we have not decided on who is going to be

00:29the candidate in Marymount yet. That will be only made known before the nomination day

00:35or on the nomination day. The party has decided that we will fill the new candidate in the

00:40coming GE. We think that we will continue to do our best and we are confident that we will

00:49be able to put up even better results this round.

00:53PSP has never put our eyes away from Marymount. We have done walkabouts here previously

00:59also even with Dr Tan and Hazel. It is a place that is close to our hearts and we do hope

01:06that the Marymount residents will give us an opportunity for us to serve them in Parliament.
