00:14I know you're busy.

00:14You've had a super successful year.

00:18It's been fun.

00:18How do you describe, I'm sure, maybe the term cult following?

00:22Have you heard that before?

00:23Yeah, I've heard that a few times.

00:25It's just cool to see where the fan base has come from my college days

00:28and going around to small clubs and seeing those same faces,

00:32going out on tour this summer with Luke Bryan

00:34and seeing those same faces in the pit.

00:36So it's crazy.

00:38Will you all ever graduate college?

00:41I know.

00:41You're still here.

00:42Right.

00:44How does it go when you get that call last minute to come down to Tampa?

00:48Obviously, warmer weather, but you also have some buddies here

00:51that are going to be doing the show as well.

00:53So does that play a part at all?

00:54Are you like, hey, tell me about this guitar pole.

00:56Should I come down there?

00:57Well, I did not know.

00:58So I didn't know who was playing for like the first day,

01:02and then I found out that Morgan and Hardy were going to be here

01:04and chasing all of them.

01:05So I said, all right, let's go.

01:07It's going to be a party.

01:08I'm going to hydrate now.

01:10I know.

01:10Get your liver ready.

01:12Are you a sipper while you perform?

01:14Yeah.

01:15Well, I feel like, you know, I guess I get like my –

01:18I sing and my throat gets real dry, I guess,

01:21and whiskey helps with that.

01:22Oh, really?

01:23It sure does, doesn't it, everybody?

01:25Lemon and tea I've heard as well, but not as fun.

01:26Lemon and tea, but it's not as fun.

01:29Yeah.

01:29When you do these kind of, you know, these guitar poles,

01:31I love these formats, man, because it's just no holds barred, unscripted.

01:35I feel like y'all can just be yourself.

01:37Yeah.

01:37And I know the produced stuff is fun, but do you ever come with a song,

01:41maybe cover a song that people go, whoa, you're about to cover that?

01:44Is there like a surprise thing that you have in your arsenal, surprise song?

01:46I think it's not.

01:47There's one song that's not released, and I've been playing it out,

01:52and people really seem to be digging it.

01:54And we recorded in the studio a while back,

01:57and I cannot wait for these fans to get it.

01:59So I think I'm going to play that one.

02:00So they're going to hear music that they've never heard before?

02:03Yeah, I think so.

02:03Unless you're a cult fan, which you probably already know.

02:06Unless you're a 12-year senior at some college,

02:09and then you already know it.

02:11Well, really appreciate you being here.

02:14How would you describe the last year?

02:16I mean, because social media, whenever your name comes up,

02:20I mean, it's like a fire.

02:22I mean, it just takes off.

02:23It's just this past year has been the best year of my life, seriously,

02:26from learning so much on the road,

02:29out on the big stage with Luke and Cole.

02:32And, man, I've just taken it all in,

02:35seeing places I've never seen before, getting to record music.

02:39And, like, you know, I call it like a big boy tour, big boy studio.

02:44You know, it's like the real deal, and I'm just soaking in all of it.

02:47It's pretty surreal.

02:48I'm just thankful.

02:49Do you ever take a break?

02:50We've got Thanksgiving coming up.

02:52I mean, you're on a hot streak right now, I swear.

02:54So my friend Casey is obsessed with you, by the way.

02:56She's one of the cult girls from Georgia that's somehow still in college,

02:59it seems like, even though she's not.

03:02Really, Casey?

03:07She's probably screaming right now.

03:08You have no idea.

03:10But I swear, it's like every other weekend, she goes,

03:12so do you want to go see John Langston down at Fort Myers?

03:14Do you want to go see him in Gainesville?

03:16Do you want to go see him in Orlando?

03:17I'm like, is he ever not in Florida?

03:19What's going on?

03:19No, we've just been really blessed with getting to go all over the place.

03:23We've been staying busy every single weekend and coming to see these fans.

03:26And, man, it's just been fun.

03:28It's been fun to see everybody.

03:29Going to be a lot of fun tonight.
