00:03Starting off at number 10, we have Jason Giambi.

00:06Giambi apologized on May 16, 2007, for using steroids and urged others in the sport to do

00:12the same.

00:12I was wrong for using that stuff, he told USA Today.

00:15Next up at number 9 is Gary Sheffield.

00:17Sheffield purchased vitamins from Balco, he says, but never anything he knew was steroids.

00:22At number 8, we have Manny Ramirez.

00:24According to an ESPN report, the drug used by Ramirez was human chorionic gonadotropin

00:29, a women's fertility drug typically used by steroid users to restart their

00:33body's natural testosterone production as they come off a steroid cycle.

00:37Seven is Jose Canseco.

00:39Canseco admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs during his major league playing career,

00:43and in 2005 wrote a tell-all book, Wild Times, Rampant Roids, Smash Hits, and How Baseball

00:49Got Big, in which he said that the vast majority of MLB players use steroids.

00:53At number 6 is Rafael Palmeiro.

00:56On August 1, 2005, Palmeiro was suspended for 10 days after testing positive for a steroid.

01:01The Washington Post reported that the steroid detected in Palmeiro's system was a serious one.

01:07Taking the number 5 spot is Roger Clemens.

01:09Clemens was alleged by the Mitchell Report to have used anabolic steroids during his late career,

01:14mainly based on testimony given by his former trainer, Brian McNamee.

01:17Coming in at number 4 is Alex Rodriguez.

01:20Alex Rodriguez said his admitted use of steroids during his 22-year career cost him

01:25millions of dollars and a potential spot in the Baseball Hall of Fame.

01:28Number 3 is Sammy Sosa.

01:30Sammy Sosa apologized for steroid mistakes.

01:33Sammy Sosa issued a statement apologizing for his alleged use of performance-enhancing drugs,

01:38more than a quarter century after smashing Major League Baseball's home-run record.

01:41At number 2 we have Mark McGuire.

01:43He admitted using steroids on occasion throughout the 1990s, including during the 1998 season.

01:49McGuire said that he used steroids to recover from injuries.

01:52And taking the number 1 spot is Barry Bonds.

01:54Perhaps the most notorious steroid user in baseball history is Barry Bonds.

01:59This news rocked the baseball world and changed Bonds' reputation forever.
