00:00Memo goes out email. Everybody got it but Froggy. You're probably the biggest
00:06culprit of this deal. I've actually been a victim of this. Yeah this came from
00:10Travis Daly. Travis is our operations manager. We got a serious problem here.
00:14The cops keep showing up. The St. Petersburg police keep showing up at the
00:19building. Why? Because Nimrods don't know how to use a phone and they keep
00:24dialing 911 when they're trying to dial a long-distance call. Here's the deal.
00:29I got a whole memo here and apparently the St. Petersburg police now they have
00:35Travis's cell number so they call Travis's cell number first before they
00:40dispatch like all these units to a complex with with what how many radio
00:45stations we have like six. So you got six big radio stations in here and who
00:49knows I mean you can give wackos out there. So now they're getting so many
00:54911 false calls from our office that they're calling Travis's cell phone.
00:59Yeah. Is everything okay there before we send the you know the whole police
01:03department to Beasley? You know what's funny is I have seen cop cars here. I'll
01:07look down and say oh why are they here? Who's in trouble? I remember back when I
01:13used to do the crank calls and I'd come in early and a cop showed up in the
01:18studio, walked in, knocked on my studio window because I hit nine to get out and
01:24and the area code was like like one something like three five and I
01:30accidentally hit one. Hold on no area code starts with a one.
01:32He means one long distance. Long distance. I was crank calling people. So I hit nine
01:37to get out. Yep. And then I hit one but I would accidentally hit one twice because
01:41remember the pad would go beep beep. Yeah. And they showed up. Yeah. Yeah. So
01:45sometimes you push one or sometimes on that old phone system you'd push it and it
01:49would like double it would go boop boop. You're right. And then I hung up and they
01:52showed up. That's the identical problem. That's what's happening here. And I think
01:55people just don't know how to use rotary phones anymore. Well we don't have
01:58whatever these are called. This is not a rotary phone. It was a circle. Rotary
02:04phone was the when you do your finger in a circle. These are in a rotation. These
02:08are touch tones. Well touch tones but what's happening and Froggy that's it. To
02:13get an outside line and I'm telling you it's the it's the sales weasels. It's
02:17it's yeah it's it's the sales department. They don't know how to use phones. All
02:20right. Have you sat through those sales meetings? I would call 911 if I had to sit
02:23through some of those meetings. Please. I'm gonna get this meeting over with right now.
02:28So what's going on is I guess the sales folks they're trying to make long
02:33distance calls. You got to hit nine for an outside line and then one to dial
02:39long distance. So let's say calling New York one and then two one two and then
02:42some of them are hitting the one twice. So you hit nine to get out and then that
02:48should but somehow they're getting another. It's inadvertent. This antiquated phone
02:52system sometimes the one is a double punch. Well or the not. I don't think that's what it
02:56is. I think that they're hitting nine to get out and then they get a line but they
03:00don't think they have the line. They hit nine again then one for long distance and
03:04then somehow another one gets pushed and they're dialing nine one one and and of
03:10course if you call nine one one and you hang up they dispatch. Yep. Because a lot of
03:15times you know people that are in distress let's say there's a domestic situation and
03:19people are trying to call nine one one. Let's say you know some you know horrific
03:24guy is beating the crap out of a woman. You put down that phone right now and she's like
03:28I'm calling nine one one. And she gets nine one one and then he rips the phone out of the
03:32wall. I love you. But it connected exactly. They will dispatch. Nine one one hang ups get
03:38dispatched. Right. Because a lot of times there's a problem and the cops will stumble upon the
03:43problem with a nine one one hang up. A lot of times it's kids that are just playing with
03:46the phone. But you know there are not a lot of nine one one. I should say there's not as
03:52many landline phones in houses anymore. There's no phones around to do it. But you also have
03:56a lot of cell phone nine one one hang ups as well. But we got a problem. The cops keep
04:00coming. Apparently the cops were showing up like five six times a week here. What's going
04:04to happen when we have a real incident? Exactly. They're not going to come. So that's what
04:08Travis has to do. They call Travis. He has to stop whatever highfalutin executive
04:12business he's doing. He has to walk the building to make sure there's not a real
04:16emergency. Yes. Froggy's getting stabbed right now. OK. I will call the
