Yesterday was a big day with the common sense ruling by the Supreme Court which finally provided legal clarity in answer to the simple question; what is a woman.A simple question needs to be asked: Why on earth did the highest court in the land need to be invoked, at a significant cost to tax payers, to tell us what we already knew?We know what a woman is.But no - our cowedly politicians stuttered and stammered their way around this simple fact.In this era of nonsense; campaign groups like Stonewall had a field day and groups popped up left right and centre to capitalise on this new cowardice, confusion and gaslighting. Intellectual dishonesty became rife and for years, women who dared to speak the truth were vilified, forced out of their jobs and banished from polite society. The fact it took ordinary women, to take up and fight this common sense case at huge emotional and financial expense is astonishing. The fact it had to reach the highest court in the land, even more so.I hope that politicians across the land woke up today with a sense of embarrassment. They failed in their duty and they metaphorically thew many of their own citizens under the bus.Truth, honesty and integrity matters and if politicians are not willing or able to uphold those things then quite frankly, they have no business being in public life. And if any of them ever again struggle with the simple question of what is a woman; I can lend them my four-year-old, for even he knows: “only boys have a winky”.

00:00Yesterday was a very big day, wasn't it, with the common sense ruling by the Supreme Court,
00:05which finally provided legal clarity in answer to the simple question, what is a woman?
00:12But now as the dust settles and we work up to headlines like these today, then a simple question needs to be asked.
00:20Why on earth did the highest court in the land need to be invoked at a significant cost to taxpayers
00:27to tell us what we already knew? Because we know, don't we? We know what a woman is.
00:34But no, our cowardly politicians stuttered and stammered their way around this simple fact.
00:41Transphobic, yes or no?
00:43Look, is it transphobic? Look, I just, I don't even know how to start answering these questions.
00:54A woman can have a penis.
00:55Nick, I'm not, I don't think we can conduct this debate with, you know...
01:05Sorry, I've offended you in some way.
01:06No, no, no, it's just, no, no, no, I just...
01:11And our now Prime Minister also has said this.
01:14Is it transphobic to say only women have a cervix?
01:18Well, it is something that shouldn't be said. It is not right.
01:26And don't forget, our now Foreign Secretary suggested that men could essentially grow a cervix.
01:32But don't worry, it wasn't just this current government there, was it?
01:35No, they were all at it.
01:38So a woman can have a penis?
01:39Well, quite clearly.
01:40I mean, what? Don't forget this.
01:45And there are some people that I think have decided to use women's rights as a sort of cloak of acceptability
01:58to cover what is transphobia.
02:01And so in this era of nonsense, campaign groups like Stonewall had an absolute field day
02:09and other groups popped up left, right and centre to capitalise on this new cowardice, confusion and gaslighting.
02:17Intellectual dishonesty became rife.
02:19And for years, women who dared to speak the truth were vilified, forced out of their jobs and banished from plight society.
02:26And let me ask you this, the fact that it took ordinary women to stand up, say no and to fight this common sense case
02:35at huge emotional and financial expense is astonishing, isn't it?
02:41The fact they even had to reach the highest court in the land, even more so.
02:46So I hope that politicians work up today with a sense of embarrassment because they failed in their duty
02:52and they metaphorically threw many of their own citizens under the bus.
02:57Truth, honesty and integrity matters.
03:00And if politicians are not willing or able to uphold these things, then quite frankly, they've got no business being in public life.
03:07And if any of them ever again struggle with the simple question of what is a woman,
03:13listen, I can lend you my four-year-old son because even he knows, and I quote, only boys have a winky.
