Dave & Chuck the Freak talk about a robbery that took place in Connecticut while the homeowner was having surgery. And, when one of the guys being interviewed started singing, Chuck promised to perform some Latin Karaoke at Dave's hospital bedside.

00:3237-year-old Luis Montanez and his fiancée, 25-year-old Cesar Larea, live in these apartments on Palisade Avenue.

00:40They proudly show off their engagement rings, but they're joined now by a lot more than their plans to be married.

00:51Five days ago, Larea gave Montanez one of his kidneys, saving his life so the couple could have a life together.

00:59But shortly after this video was taken at Yale-New Haven Hospital on Tuesday, where the couple underwent simultaneous surgeries,

01:07police say something sinister was happening back at their apartment.

01:11The couple had posted their plans for surgery on social media,

01:14and investigators believe somebody who heard about that used the opportunity to break into their apartment

01:20using this screwdriver and stealing their stuff.

01:23So that whoever basically came into the house had to know you weren't here,

01:27had to know you were going through surgery.

01:29I didn't deserve that.

01:31Nobody deserves this.
