00:00And we've all worked very hard to get here.
00:03And I want to thank you for the tremendous support that we had.
00:07Just about 88 percent, I'd say that's good.
00:11I said, why didn't we hit 90, but it's pretty good.
00:14And all friends and everybody in this room is a very special friend.
00:19I want to pay great homage to the White House.
00:23There is no place like it.
00:24I've been in many houses.
00:25I've seen the nicest of the nice and there's nothing like it.
00:28And really what it represents.
00:32And being here with you in the middle of Holy Week,
00:35as we remember two of the most monumental events in all of history,
00:40the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
00:44I want to thank Pastor Paula White and Reverend Franklin Graham.
00:49All of the incredible, respected, highly respected members of clergy
00:56and friends, just friends, friends of great faith.
01:02Many thanks as well to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who's been fantastic.
01:08Many faith leaders that are here tonight.
01:11Angel mom, Patty Morin, who's been through hell.
01:14Where's Patty?
01:17Patty? Stand up, Patty.
01:18Please.
01:20Yes, your incredible daughter.
01:29And your daughter is looking down on Patty today.
01:33This was someday for you.
01:35And we appreciate it, Patty.
01:36And we're all with you 100 percent.
01:38And you are indeed an angel mom.
01:41Thank you very much.
01:42And a very special thanks to Charles Billingsley for the magnificent performance.
01:49Thank you, Charles.
01:50It was great.
01:54Nearly 2,000 years ago, during the sacred week,
01:58the living Son of God entered Jerusalem in triumph.
02:02Soon after, the Savior of mankind, who brought truth and light into the world,
02:06was betrayed, arrested, and tried, beaten, and nailed to a cross, and crucified.
02:11For our sake, he gave up his life.
02:15And as the very great reverend Billy Graham once said,
02:21God proved his love on the cross when Christ hung and bled and died.
02:28It was God saying to the world, I love you.
02:32Those are beautiful words from a great man, Franklin, right?
02:36A great man, Franklin's incredible father.
02:38I went to Yankee Stadium with my father many years ago to watch your father.
02:43And you think we have big crowds today?
02:46It was some crowd.
02:48Never forget it.
02:49So thank you very much.
02:50And thank you for being here, Franklin, very much.
02:53Three days.
02:54Your father would be very proud of you, by the way.
02:56Incredible.
02:57Three days later, Christ's followers found the empty tomb.
03:05Jesus had defeated darkness and death and promised new life to all of humankind.
03:12And that's what we celebrate each year at Easter, as we joyfully proclaim on Sunday,
03:16He is risen.
03:17The death and resurrection of Jesus are the essence of the Christian faith.
03:23Whether rich or poor, healthy or sick, young or old, or in times of peace or war,
03:29Christians everywhere find solace and hope in the knowledge that Christ died for them
03:36and that they could be united with him in heaven.
03:42And that's what we want.
03:43That's what we all want.
03:45The miracles of Holy Week set in motion a transformation in human existence.
03:52Countless millions of Americans have been moved by Christ's example to heal the sick,
03:58defend their families, lift up their communities,
04:00and make our country stronger, better, and greater than ever before.
04:05With God's grace over these past three months,
04:08and we have had a great three months.
04:11They say maybe the best three months ever for a president.
04:18And an administration.
04:20It was really great.
04:21We have fantastic people.
04:23And they're people that believe like you do.
04:26But we've achieved more than most administrations they've been saying do.
04:30In four years or even eight years, just in a short period of time.
04:34And I think there's a whole new spirit in our country.
04:36And I think there's a whole new respect for our country.
04:39Our country was not respected five months ago, six months ago.
04:43Although I think November 5th did a lot to get that respect, Franklin.
04:47I think it was a big day.
04:50I hope it's going to go down as one of the most important days in the history of our country.
04:55November 5th.
04:56We're restoring our prosperity, securing our borders.
05:01We're rebuilding the U.S. military.
05:03We've, I did it once, now I'm going to do it again, and even more so.
05:08We're standing up for a persecuted Christian,
05:12and so many Christians that have been persecuted all over the world.
05:15So horrible what's happened, and defending religious liberty.
05:20We had nobody fighting for our Christians in other parts of the world that were being
05:23so incredibly destroyed, killed, injured, hurt.
05:30But they died.
05:31So many died.
05:33You wouldn't think that could happen in this time, in this sort of modern time.
05:38I proudly created the White House Faith Office and a brand new DOJ task force to eradicate
05:45anti-Christian bias.
05:47And there is anti-Christian.
05:48You don't hear about that very much, but there is anti-Christian bias.
05:53We're stopping the radical indoctrination in our schools and supporting school choice.
05:59And we're going to be moving our education department and various educational departments
06:05down to the states where they belong.
06:08We spend more money per pupil than any country in the world.
06:11And we don't get the answer.
06:13We are in the lower, lower tier of 40 nations, the 40 nations that they rate.
06:20And I think when we do this, it's going to make a tremendous difference.
06:24Think of it.
06:24We spend more per pupil than any country in the world.
06:28And yet it's Denmark and Norway, Sweden.
06:32Even China does very well in the top 10.
06:35And so we can't blame it on size.
06:37We're big.
06:39China is really big.
06:40And we're going to be there.
06:42We're going to be there soon.
06:43When the states run their education department instead of some bureaucrat in Washington,
06:48it's going to make a very big, I think it's going to make a very big difference.
06:54And I also, and this was a very easy one for me, I guess some people still fight it because
07:01I saw on television today a Democrat congressman fighting so hard.
07:07I ban men from women's sports.
07:09Seems easy.
07:10And I signed an executive order making it official and the official policy of the United States
07:22that God created two genders, male and female.
07:26That's not too good.
07:32So there's so much to celebrate this Easter.
07:35This is really, I hope, going to be one of the great Easter's ever because we have something
07:41going that I don't think this country has seen in a hundred years.
07:45And as we gather with family and friends, we'll not forget the true source of our joy and our
07:50strength.
07:50America has put our trust in God.
07:53It will always be in God we trust.
07:56We will never change that.
07:57You know, there's a movement to change it.
07:59It will not happen.
08:00We won't let that happen.
08:03Can you imagine a movement to change that, Robert?
08:07You're not happy about that when you hear that.
08:10Look at him.
08:10He's getting angrier and angrier.
08:12We can get angry too, can't we, huh?
08:15No, it's never going to change.
08:17And with God's help, we can overcome every challenge, triumph over every evil, and restore
08:24the spirit of faith in the United States for generations to come.
08:28We have a very simple slogan, Make America Great Again, and that's exactly what we're
08:34doing.
08:34We're making America great again.
08:37And I like to say, I like to add that I really believe greater than ever before.
08:42So once again, let me wish you all a very joyful and blessed Easter.
08:46And I would now like to ask Pastor Jensen Franklin, a supporter right from day one, been right,
08:54he's been here, I think, Paula, from the first moment that we, we started, and who would have
09:00known that it was going to turn out this way?
09:02But the support I've had from evangelicals, Christians, and everybody, people of faith,
09:08really, has been incredible.
09:10I believe it's been unprecedented, actually, by a lot, not just by a little bit.
09:16So Pastor Franklin, if you would, please come up.
09:18Thank you very much.
