06:11as all eyes of the wrestling world are focused not only on this weekend and CyberSlam 97,
06:18but on ECMW's very first pay-per-view Sunday night, April 13th, barely legal.
06:24Hello, everyone. I'm Joey Stiles.
06:26You're watching Xtreme Championship Wrestling,
06:28the promotion that is not only the talk of the Monday Night Table Awards,
06:33but that also has the internet buzzes.
06:35And that leads us to this weekend, CyberSlam 97.
06:39Will Raven still be the world heavyweight champion?
06:43Raven, who recently may have scored the biggest upset in American professional wrestling history,
06:49when he pinned via three Stevie Kicks, a man who had not been pinned on this continent in over a decade.
06:58A man who was considered by many to be the toughest athlete in all of professional sports,
07:04Steve Dr. F. Williams.
07:06But again, before Raven spiked up with the DDT, he was hit on the chin with not one, not two,
07:13but three of the awesome Stevie Kicks by Stevie Richards, now Big Stevie Cool,
07:20who for two years was the chief flunky, groupie, henchman, lackey, follower, toady of Raven.
07:30But now, as the leader of the phenomenal Blue World Order,
07:35has declared his independence and is rising as his own star.
07:40How big is the Blue World Order?
07:43So big that two of its new followers include Laurie Fullington, ex-wife of the Sandman,
07:48and their little son, Tyler.
07:51And remember, at Hardcore Heaven 1996, they left the Sandman.
07:57And since then, Raven has been tormenting the Sandman in a game that no man should be forced to play.
08:04Not just about careers and the World Heavyweight title.
08:08He took away a man's family.
08:10But then he did take away the World Heavyweight title as well.
08:13It was a night that will live in infamy, December 7, 1996.
08:18In a barbed wire matchup, Raven regained the World Heavyweight title.
08:23And the Sandman is still looking for that title.
08:26As is a young man who is Mr. Hardcore, Tommy Dreamer,
08:30who has never pinned Raven in the two years that he has been shooting with him.
08:37Oh, he's beaten Raven within an inch of his life on more than one occasion.
08:41But he has never pinned Raven under any circumstances in any sort of matchup.
08:47Oh, so it almost happened at Gangsta's Paradise,
08:50but the decision was reversed by referee Bill Alfonso.
08:56So every morning, Tommy Dreamer must look in the mirror
08:59and see a hardcore young man who has never pinned the World Heavyweight Champion.
09:06Is this Tommy's time or is it a time of his mentor, his 53-year-old mentor,
09:14a man who lost the World Heavyweight title 20 years ago this month in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
09:21Is it now time for Terry Funk to once again become the Heavyweight Champion of the World?
09:28He has been pleading ECW for a shot at the World Heavyweight Title.
09:36Can this be the greatest comeback in history?
09:40If it is, the man who will be the victim of it is Raven.

11:12Tonight's program is being brought to you from the Wonderland Greyhound Park in Revere, Massachusetts,

11:29and the Sandman, who as you can hear, is making his way to the ring right now.

12:13and smoking a cigarette has just amassed legions and legions of hardcore wrestling fans.
12:28I mean, he is the complete antithesis of everything a professional athlete you think would be.
12:35And he's a former world heavyweight champion.
12:44It's improbable, it's unthinkable, it's illogical.
12:47But it's the truth, and it's extreme.
12:56And he is as tough as they come.
