00:00well i'm really excited because we are getting a revamp of vanderpump rules i know it's taking

00:04a different direction entirely new group has everybody been cast for the show and how will

00:09this look are we back at sir oh yeah the whole premise of the show is going back to the nuts and

00:14bolts of the show that it was um we're not going to try and make vanderpump rules again the same

00:20way we did that it's not is this is totally different but it again it's about young people

00:27that work there um i think it's very rare that you see behind the scenes of a restaurant because

00:33nobody no other restauranteur that i know is crazy enough to do that um it's the behind the scenes

00:38but it's about the nucleus of a restaurant that how it brings them all back together and then when you

00:44get a lot of young hot people it always gets complicated i swear you could do vanderpump

00:49villa and vanderpump rules you could shoot it all year has james tried to reach out to you at all

00:54he did you know at the time but i said you know before i speak to you i want to speak to ali and

00:59i want to understand it completely so it was when she talked to me and kind of reassured me and they

01:04were taking their time apart i said i think that's the best thing but you know as i say people continually

01:10make mistakes when they're young it's how they grow from it that's important to me you know i've had so

01:16much patience with him and i was so happy to see him you know with ali and doing so well and i know

01:25it's a disease and we talk about that and you know um you just at some point got to say i i cannot

01:34support this you know any anymore you know it's um you know with some people when they keep making the

01:40same mistakes you know so that that's yeah that's frustrating for sure i did talk to ali at great

01:46length and she did reassure me that nothing happened physically they were just you know like in a

01:53drunken nonsense and um yeah she did say nothing like that happened so i would have to talk to her to

02:01be reassured of that for sure say do you feel like the world has forgiven tom after traitors i mean

02:07maybe i don't know because i don't know the public perception but i hear his kind of

02:13it's a very individual character and i think people have probably seen that you know

02:19this um i haven't again i haven't watched it because having nighttime businesses i don't really

02:24have time to watch television um but i hope that he's done well and i i would wish them well you know

02:30jacks obviously came forward about his addictions have you talked to him have you noticed a change in

02:35him at all recently i don't know how close the two of you are i haven't really had i mean um

02:41with the baby when they had you know the baby cruise up right at the beginning i sent them even

02:45though they were gone from the show because they all have babies at the same time of course

02:50um i sent them all the gifts you know the baby the same um but no i'm not really i'm not really

02:59close to jacks i mean i think jacks kind of shot himself in the foot when he left you know and i

03:06looked at him and he was like this is my show and i was just like no no this is my show bye how would

03:14you describe your relationship with ariana today has uh do the two of you speak at all or you know

03:20i love all of them really for all their mishaps and foibles and up everything i i do love all of

03:29them because it's such a um such a unusual experience to go through reality television even behind the

03:40scenes to be there and to be somebody that's been you know a huge part of kind of orchestrating it and

03:48i brought her from villa blanca into the show i'm just glad she's doing well i mean she knows that

03:55she has you know my support um yeah and and you know she's been very honest talking about depression

04:02with me um so the fact that she didn't go down that path which is what would really worry me you

04:08know so the fact that she's happy in a relationship i always say don't get mad don't get mad just get

04:15even and then what's your relationship with sheena now too i haven't spoken to sheena lately but

04:20sheena kind of almost grew up with me you know sheena was at villa blanca for quite a few years

04:25um they're all i think they're all doing okay i think sheena's doing okay thankfully she's got

04:32somebody loyal um um somebody by her side because she had a hell of a roller coaster with different

04:38relationships um i heard that she was on the masked singer which is something that i know she would

04:44love because she would talk about when she's been dancing with stuff so um good um but i can't talk

04:52to them all the time remember i have like 700 people that work for me and as much as as much as i i

04:59think as long as they know i'm always there if they need me um i talk to schwartz quite a lot

05:05um lala occasionally who always says i love you she always says my mother gave birth to lauren but

05:13you gave birth to lala she always says that
