There are alot of PSVR games to play at launch, we've played most of them and put together a top 5 to ensure you have a great time when you first play the new hardware.

00:23we currently consider to be the best PSVR 2 games to explore at launch.

00:29Kayak VR Mirage will make you want to take off the PSVR 2 headset and head for the water.

00:34But, as a second best to the real thing, the water physics and graphics here are utterly stunning.

00:39It's one of those games that can fit with whatever pace you're looking for. Race against a leaderboard

00:43of fellow kayakers, take the scenic route in free roam mode, or just sit back and enjoy the views.

00:49There's nothing quite like paddling alongside a stingray in Costa Rica after a stressful day at

00:53work, especially when it looks as good as this. It's mechanically brilliant too, accurately mirroring

00:58how it feels and works using a kayak in real life. There are few games that have surprised

01:04and delighted me like What The Golf, so it should come as little surprise that What The Bat, the

01:09spiritual successor from the same developer, has quickly become one of my favourite titles among

01:14the admittedly short PSVR 2 launch line-up. The premise of the game is relatively simple,

01:19use two bats to hit trophies. This starts with the basic hit ball to hit trophy and escalates wildly to scenarios

01:25requiring you to brush your teeth with a bat and more. This creative game will have you giggling

01:30to yourself behind the VR headset.

01:32MOSS Book 2 is a perfect game for anyone who's worried about the motion sickness that can come

01:37from a first-person VR experience. Both a compelling story and a clever take on the 3D platforming games,

01:43MOSS Book 2 puts you in the shoes of a Ghibli-like spirit that aids a heroic mouse on its quest for glory.

01:48It may not be a new game, but its lovely environments are brought to life like never before

01:52by PSVR 2's OLED display. This is a truly relaxing VR experience that makes clever use of the hardware

01:58and one you can happily lose hours to, all the while controlling an adorable wee mouse.

02:04Demio brings the tabletop gaming experience to VR with brilliant success. Looming over

02:09procedurally generated dungeons, you'll be able to walk through multiple floors of enemies,

02:13mysteries and potential traps either alone or with friends. The interactivity of moving your

02:18characters around, using cards from your hand that are revealed at the flick of the wrist is really

02:22enjoyable. This is a really great social game to play with friends who also have VR headsets,

02:27and it's also quite a good dungeon crawler, with the procedurally generated enemies also adding a bit

02:31of longevity. Horizon Call of the Mountain is the best PSVR 2 game because it's the only one truly

02:37made solely for the hardware, and thus the best at showing off what it's capable of. It's also

02:41brilliant because it's a brilliant game in and of itself. Visually stunning, it does well to

02:45translate the magic of Horizon's console gameplay into a brilliantly virtual reality setting,

02:50offering a unique storyline. Bow combat is great, as are the robot dinosaurs in all their giant scale.

02:56Not to mention all the little details, Fire Sprite and Gorilla have added to the world

02:59to bring it to life in VR. It's unmissable if you have a PSVR 2.
