00:08we have two ways to do it one is the shorter and the other one is longer so we will start

00:19your whatsapp and go to the chat section whose chat you want to log and you'll have to go to
00:24the description area by clicking on the top and you will see an option of chat lock so if you click
00:31on that circle button then it will show green right well just so you know locking chat means
00:39that you're locking and hiding the chat on your device means it will not be shown in the whatsapp
00:46section area it will go to the lock chat area you can also unlock it we will cover it in the next
00:51video so again let's go to the uh to an individual chat whose chat we will be locking now so do it
00:58your way let's lock your chat so we click on the circle button uh right in front of the chat lock
01:07and here it is written that keep this chat locked and hidden so we will click on continue uh you can
01:14also check more things as it has an option of learn more so you can know more things about it
01:21for your information you will have to have a device authentication turned on means any lock or
01:28face recognition lock has to be there right if you don't have it you will be prompted
01:35to turn it on before locking a chat so it means you will have to have a lock so i did not had it
01:42like when i was recording so i had to pause the recording and get the lock done right so we will have
01:49to do it the shorter way to do is just go to the whatsapp you will have your chats on the screen
01:55you have to select the chat you want to lock and click on the three dots and you will have the option
02:00of lock chat now just click on the continue and your chat will be locked and hidden that's it both ways
