GE2025: Nee Soon MP Faishal Ibrahim to run in Marine Parade-Braddell Heights GRC

4-term MP Assoc Prof Faishal Ibrahim told the media on Friday morning (April 11) that PM Lawrence Wong has asked him to join the newly-formed Marine Parade-Braddell Heights GRC team, and he has agreed.

00:05The PM asked me to go over to Merrimpreet and I have agreed.

00:11This is something that I am very very touched with the whole process after being asked

00:17and people get to know especially my residents who found out through some of the activities

00:23that have been carried out and a lot of messages have poured in and I'm deeply touched

00:29However, I'm very happy that Ms. Goh has come forward to stand in the coming election

00:39and she's very prepared and I'm very happy that she has run around the ground and met many residents

00:50and I'm confident that Ms. Goh will be able to contribute the good work of the Lee Soon-JRC team

00:58So at the end of the day, being in politics for the last 20, close to 20 years

01:06I realized it's about beyond winning election, it's about how we can serve our people

01:11walking the talk after being elected and at the same time grow with the residents

01:17I'm very fortunate to be able to grow with the residents here in Lee Soon
