00:00Samantala sa nagrap na second leg ng Tamiya Philippine Cup nitong weekend,

00:04lumahok rito ang ilang mga hobbyists at mga batikan sa larangan ng Tamiya.

00:10Para sa iba pang detalye, narito ang report ni teammate Carl Velasco.

00:17Nagtunggali sa mini racetrack ang humigit kumulang kalahating libong RC car enthusiasts sa bansa.

00:24Ito ay matapos ganapin ang second leg ng Tamiya Philippine Cup sa Ayala Mall Circuit sa lungsod ng Makati.

00:33Sinimula ng nasabing batimbalak sa iba't ibang kategorya na X-Stock, Boxstock, Stock Advance Pro at Ultra Jeepney kategory

00:41kung saan nasungkit ni Christopher Cervantes ang kampyonato sa day 1 para sa X-Stock at Stock Advance Pro classes.

00:49Pagsapit naman ang day 2 ng second leg, nagwagi si Namiro Sitchanko sa Open Class kategory,

00:56Rupert Nagwit sa Stock Advance kategory, at Rap Santos para sa Ultra Jeepney kategory.

01:04Sa panayam ng PTV Sports kay Tamiya Hobbies at the Brickyard Founder and CEO Ferdi Khan,

01:11masaya siya sa naging kinalabasan ng ilang buwang preparasyon nila para sa Philippine Cup.

01:16Anya, mas lalo pang lumalaki at nakikilala ang Brickyard dahil mula sa 300 participants noong nakaraang 2024 Tamiya Cup.

01:26Pumalo na ito sa halos 500 ngayong taon.

01:30This weekend is actually very good. We've surpassed for sure yung unang leg namin.

01:35We have maybe about almost 500, no I'm sure maybe about 450 racers here today.

01:40It was long, it was painful, pero as you can see we have 3 world-class look-size racetracks.

01:49And you know, we were setting it up for, we were advertising this or promoting it for the past 2 months now.

01:56So yeah, it was a lot of work but you know, I think it's paid off.

02:00Samantala, kumpiyansa naman si Khan na makukuha ng Pilipinas ang kampiyonato sa paparating na Tamiya Cup 2025 na gaganapin sa Taiwan.

02:12Ang mananalo sa third leg ng Tamiya Philippine Cup ay may pagkakataon na irepresenta ang bansa sa nasabing international competition.

02:21Very confident. Going well, this is the second leg of that competition.

02:27So after the third leg which is going to be sometime in May, then we're going to pick essentially the team.

02:32So so far so good naman and we have a good participation to be able to pick a good team.

02:38Gaganapin naman ang Tamiya Cup 2025 sa darating na hunyo sa Taiwan.
