00:00Thank you. Mr. Speaker, I want to take a moment today to share a story of why we are fighting
00:07and who we are fighting for. Every day, this administration claims they're trying to make
00:12America healthy again, and yet everything they are doing seems to indicate that they
00:16are trying to make us sicker again. They've fired 10,000 HHS health professionals, and
00:22on this floor this week, the GOP passed a reconciliation package that would cut Medicaid
00:28by billions of dollars. Every day, my constituents ask, how can this cruel agenda continue? Yesterday,
00:37I met with Rochelle Tittman, a mom of four who was diagnosed with cancer when she was 29 weeks
00:44pregnant eight years ago. But by the grace of God, her family, and the medical advancements
00:49made possible by the HHS, by the National Institutes of Health, by the CDC, she is here today and
00:57her youngest daughter, Ray, is in the second grade. These are the people we are fighting
01:02for. This is why we are fighting back. And this is why we oppose this cruel agenda. I yield back.
01:10The chair lays before the house of communication.
