00:00Your relationship with your work is your foremost relationship in life.

00:04That's the one deep love affair each of us needs to have.

00:10Love towards work.

00:11And if that intimate relationship we do not have,

00:16then life becomes very tedious.

00:19Because I want to be higher, because I want to be better,

00:22because I want to see the world getting better around me.

00:25Hence, I choose my work accordingly.

00:28That's the way the choice has to be made.

00:32But that's not the way we see choices, career choices being made on campuses,

00:38being made in HR interviews.

00:41That's not the way it is happening.

00:43And that partly explains why, as a society, we are what we are.
